Hilary Swank has heads turned and jaws dropped as she attends the 80th Annual Academy Awards in rainy Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The Oscar darling and perennial fashion favourite knocked us out with a single-shoulder black Versace with floral details.

Hilary Swank tells W magazine what she thinks of her last three films being box office busts: “It’s the business of a lottery, for lack of a better word. All you have control over is how hard you choose to work. After that, you do your press, and then you let it go. Of course you want something you’ve given birth to to do well. But why sit there and lament over what you don’t have control over?”
In the January issue of W mag, hitting newsstands December 25, the stunning P.S. I Love You star dishes on everything from her new beau to vitamin supplement addiction.
Hilary on being in love with her boyfriend, former agent John Campisi: “Of course I’m in love. Or I wouldn’t be in this relationship for as long as I’ve been. He’s a great guy.”
Hilary on Jeff Robinov’s, the president of production at Warner Bros., alleged claim that they will no longer be doing movies with female leads due to recent box office duds: “Who knows if Jeff really said that or not. I think that’s still up for debate. He says he didn’t say it, and I know that people attribute things to me that I didn’t say. But speaking in general, I think it’s really naive to say, ‘Oh, a woman’s vehicle is not successful,’ because men’s movies have failed at the box office too. Look, I don’t want to name names, but there’s been lots of movies starring men—with big names!—that didn’t do well.”
Hilary on why she left New York City: “I looked and looked and looked for a place in New York. I just didn’t find anything. Prices have just skyrocketed!”
Hilary on the 45 supplements she takes everyday in addition to her vitamin injections: “This is my Aloe C, which I dissolve in water. Here’s my flax. This one’s for my immune system, and this one is my BrainWave—it’s great, like if I have a lot of lines to memorize. I just took my most important ones, which are my Oz Garcia Longevity Pak. I shoved them in my mouth right before I met you, which I actually shouldn’t do, because I choked on my vitamins once before.”
Hilary on her metabolism: “I have a really high metabolism. Exercise is also really important to me. I think it gives me more energy. I would rather sleep six hours and get an hour workout than sleep seven hours.”
Hilary on her crazy schedule: “In the past four and a half weeks, I’ve been to London, Texas, Chicago, China, New York, L.A. and New York again. You know, it’s tiring, but I can’t complain, because I’m getting to do what I love.”

Hilary Swank made an assertive style statement in a stunning floor-length strapless black gown at the world premiere of
P.S. I Love You at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood last night.
The mermaid train gown had a voluminous ruffled front panel of scalloped frills with a back zip and was cleverly accented with a gold waist band.
Swank was adorned with black and golden pearl earrings, a bracelet in same hues and carried a black box clutch with gold metallic edges.
Her caramel highlights on short hair looked a perfect style to go with the dress!

Double Oscar? Who needs it?!
Hilary Swank received a Time For Peace award on Thursday at the Hotel Bel-Air in Beverly Hills for her role in Freedom Writers, the true-story of a Southern California high school teacher who mentors and empowers gang youth and other troubled teens in her classroom.
Ms. Swank’s do-gooding apparently knows no boundaries. The two-time Oscar winner debuted her new ‘do after donating more than nine inches of her amber locks last week to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths charity campaign, which benefits women dealing with hair loss while undergoing chemotherapy.
The celeb stylist doing the cutting? None other than Oprah, of course!

As you likely don’t recall, FYB reported (many months ago) that Hilary Swank would soon cut all of her hair off for a charity that creates wigs for women with cancer.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, the day has finally come. On Friday, Oprah Winfrey will do the honours, chopping off nine inches of the double Oscar-winner’s locks as part of her ‘Oprah’s Great American Haircut’ episode.
In the hour, top hairstylists give makeovers to 100 members of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ audience.
But sure to tune in. After all, who doesn’t love a makeover??

‘Million Dollar Baby’ actress Hilary Swank shows off her million dollar body in a teeny-weeny bikini during Day 2 of her romantic Hawaiian getaway with beau John Campisi.
Fresh off her vacation in Italy last month, the extra lean Oscar-winner has now found herself in the Aloha State where she is enjoying some unneeded R&R.
But don’t call Hilary a lazy beach bum. We’re sure the notoriously fickle actress is merely trying to rack up some free Air Miles.
