Loved up couple Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie were all smiles as they walked the streets of Toluca Lake, CA today as they arrive at Hilary’s palatial home.

Rocking cork knee-high boots and endless accessories, Hilary and her NHL player beau kept things courteous with the paparazzi but refused to answer any questions — especially ones concerning when Mike was going to pop the big question.

Meanwhile, it appears Hilary’s star is continuing to rise. After totally killing it in the political satire War Inc., the aspiring actress will continue to spread her wings as she joins the Polish Brothers new comedy, Stay Cool. She plays a sultry high school senior who tries to seduce an author (Mark Polish) visiting her school.

Also starring in Stay Cool is Chevy Chase, Sean Astin, Jon Cryer and Winona Ryder – who plays the real object of the author’s affection.

Cartier held a glitzy launch event for their LOVE Charity Bracelet at a private residence in Los Angeles last night.

Among the celeb attendees were Janet Jackson and Nicole Richie. While Miss Janet accessorized her basic black ensemble with a newly sewed weave, mom-about-town Richie stayed true to her curtain couture look, donning an ill-fitting floral halter dress….yet again.

Since the Cartier LOVE bracelet was introduced more than 30 years ago, it has become one of the most coveted jewelry designs in the world and the ultimate symbol of love. Over the past two years, Cartier donated more than $2.24 million to sixteen global charities from the sales of its LOVECHARITY bracelet. The company aims to exceed last year’s donations as a number of new music ambassadors join the endeavor.

Other A-list invitees included Hilary Duff, Joel and Benji Madden, Eva Mendes, Emmy Rossum, Kimora Lee Simmons, Djimon Hounsou, Chloe Sevigny, Bridget Moynahan, Common and a busted and broken down-looking Fergie.

Hilary Duff was spotted leaving Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills last night with boyfriend Mike Comrie and a few friends.

The singer and actress looked chic in tailored grey trousers and a simple black tank. She was led out by a lady friend by her hand and though she seemed blinded by flashbulbs she kept a big smile on her face.

Hilary didn’t let a night out on the town get in the way of business, however. The self-admitted workaholic was up bright and early this morning at a recording studio in Burbank, CA. Looking adorable in ooldes of accessories, Duff spent the entire day behind the mic recording her upcoming album.

Hilary Duff poses with students during the Blessings in a Backpack event held at Boca Raton elementary school in Boca Raton, Florida on Thursday.

The former teen queen was the latest addition to a program begun by U.S.A. Harvest that gives meals to needy children.

Wearing a yellow top, denim shorts and sandals, Miss Duff stood at the end of a line of people dishing out food and handed plates heaping with salad, chicken, noodles, string beans and corn on the cob to the line of homeless and hungry — and a handful of fans.

Says Hilary: “I have a lot of compassion for their situation. Anyway, doing this kind of stuff is good for your soul. It makes you realize what you have in your life and makes you thankful.”
