Mariah Carey will make her first TV appearance since marrying Nick Cannon on the Ellen Degeneres Show today.
During the show, the new bride admits that there were more people helping her do her hair for her wedding to Nick Cannon than guests at the actual ceremony itself.
The E=MC2 songstress says her nuptials were mostly attended by people “to do my hair and help me with the dress.”
She adds: “And then, three of my friends and he had three people with him. It wasn’t a lot of people taking pictures.”
But wory not disgruntled friends and family who didn’t get an invite — Mr. and Mrs. Cannon may hold a wedding annually so those closest to them can attend.
“His plan is to have one [wedding] every year. Instead of trying to be like, ‘You’re invited, but shhh, don’t tell anybody,’ we’re just going to have another one [wedding] next year.”

Ellen DeGeneres tried to predict the sex of
Jessica Alba’s baby today on her Mother’s Day show by holding a ring over the star’s belly.
The result? Ellen says it’s a girl.
Evidently Miss Degeneres doesn’t read FYB. If she did, she’d know that Jessica confirmed she was expecting a little girl during her baby shower back in April!

Ellen: You look great, one question are you nursing?
Christina: I guess it’s a little obvious.

Move over, William Hung, there’s a new famous-for-no-reason American Idol reject heading for fame!
Josiah Leming - the contestant who was living in his car and didn’t make the Top 24 - appeared on Ellen today, assuring the audience he doesn’t cry five times every two hours. And, he mentioned that his mother has terminal cancer.
Always one to parlay a frown upside down, Ellen, who not only gave him a chance to sing his original One Last Song, gave him $8000 worth of recording equipment including a guitar, laptop, keyboard and gift certificate to Musicians Friend.

On today’s ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show, host Ellen Degeneres asks Keira Knightley the burning question on everyone’s mind: Why do you love posing nude?
Keira: I don’t know. People ask and I just say yes.
Ellen: You just say ok?
Keira: Yeah, I will learn to say no. At the moment, my friends actually have bets going on that I can’t actually do a photo shoot keeping my clothes on.
Keira adds: I think I find it vaguely liberating, which I hope I don’t become a nudist.
Ellen: You’re on your way.
Keira: I am, I’m on my way.
Ellen: I don’t know why you put on clothes to come to the show.
Keira: Should I take them off now?
Ellen: No, no. We’re daytime.

Indecisive reality hunk Brad Womack, who led two women to the finale of The Bachelor only to not pick either one of them, tells Ellen DeGeneres (who called him a “jerk”) about his decision today.
Brad on why he went home alone: “What I want people to understand is, I know no one is buying this, that it was just as difficult for me. … I knew I was going to put myself in the hot seat by telling both ladies goodbye. But I give you my word: I thought I had made a decision full of integrity by not giving a false promise, especially to Deanna, because we did have something, but not enough to pursue the relationship. I did not take the easy way out. In fact, I took the tough way out in order to show these women respect, in my opinion.”
Brad on if he would ever do it again: “I would do it again, simply because I believe in the fairy tale romance. I am so disappointed that it didn’t happen to me. Of course I’d do it again. Never in a million years would I expect the backlash. I’m having to develop a pretty tough skin. If you’re asking me if I’m going on TV again, never again in my life.”
Brad on whether he’s currently dating anyone: “No I’m not dating at all. I’d like to clear up that rumour. What people don’t understand is that I’m going through a break-up as well. I truly am. I haven’t even thought about dating. I’m keeping to myself. I think if I asked a woman out, she might throw a drink in my face right now. I’ll try to make light of a very tough situation, but I’m not ready to move on.”

Shameless self-promoter Paris Hilton drops by The Ellen Degeneres Show today.
Here are some highlights from the highly enlightening conversation:
Do you get recognized everywhere you go?
Paris: Yeah. (Audience laughs)
Ellen: Do people dress like you … and want to be like you?
Paris: Some of the teen-age girls when they come to the signings, or my appearances, they’ll die their hair blond. They have little Chihuahuas. It’s really cute.
Setting the record straight about drunken elephants
Ellen: How does this happen? Last month..Where did this happen? Someplace overseas. India? This is the quote that’s all over the press from you. “The elephants get drunk all the time and it’s becoming really dangerous. We need to stop making alcohol available to them.” Tell me about this.
Paris: I read that too and I was like, how would an elephant get alcohol in the first place. Why would talk about that. Why I care if an elephant got drunk? Can an elephant get drunk? I’ve never talked about that in my life.
Ellen: You’ve never heard about it? Nothing?
Paris: No, I didn’t even know an elephant could get drunk. I don’t even think they can still. They always put words in my mouth all the time.

Style vixen Victoria Beckham makes her first appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today and manages to get sneaker queen Ellen Degeneres into some stilletttos. May-juh!!
Here’s a sneak peek at their interview:
Posh on life in Hollywood: “When we first got here, it was really intense. There was tons of press every single day. And then they kind of figured out that actually we’re quite boring and Britney’s far more interesting and so they go to her house.”
Posh on celebrity friends: “We’ve met some really nice friends. Eva Longoria has been really sweet. When I first moved here I didn’t know anybody. She went with me to get my nails done, my hair done.”
Ellen: (Interrupts) You could have called me, I’ll show you all that stuff.
Posh on more kids: Victoria says her son Romeo wants to follow in her footsteps. “He thinks he’s the next Justin Timberlake.” And she says she’d be happy to have one more child. “I would like a girl. It would be great. It would finish the family off to have a little girl. I think, but I have a big tour coming up and I don’t want to get pregnant.”
Posh on shoes: When Victoria says she “never” wears flat shoes, except for flip-flops around the house.
Ellen: “You’d never wear tennis shoes?”
Victoria: “I think wearing heels makes you feel more confident.”
