The Blogosphere was rocked today with numerous reports claiming
Elizabeth Taylor was on her death bed and barely clinging on via life support.
Now representatives for the big screen legend say she is in a hospital but is doing fine and expects to return home shortly.
A statement just released by her publicist today read: “Ms. Taylor is fine. Her hospital visit was precautionary. She will be returning home shortly. At present, she is surrounded by family, friends and fabulous jewels.”
There was no mention of what had been ailing the 76-year-old actress.

An Andy Warhol painting of Elizabeth Taylor has sold for $23.4 million!!!
An anonymous bidder bought the 1963 portrait, called Liz, which had been expected to fetch more than $25m (£11.9m) at Christie’s.
Warhol created 12 portraits of the actress as she recovered from illness.
The auction house would not confirm or deny reports, but it was without a doubt Hugh Grant who sold the portrait after he bought it in 2001 for a cool $15m.

Newly married Liz Hurley channel her inner Elizabeth Taylor circa 1958’s ‘Cat On A Hot Tin Roof’ in the April issue of British InStyle.
While the resemblance is striking, Liz would like the similarities to stop right there. The 41-year-old model-turned-actress tells the mag: “I hope I won’t be married as many times.”
