Dolly Parton taped a segment for The Ellen DeGeneres Show today.

The show won’t air until Monday, but here’s a little tidbit of what went down:

Ellen: “Your fans have actually said that they think you should run for office someday. That you should run for president. That’s how much your fans believe in you. Is that something you’d even be interested in? To run for office?”

Dolly: “No, don’t you think we’ve had enough boobs in the White House?”

Dolly Parton sent out a statement today saying how mad and sad she is about Howard Stern’s recent radio stunt.

Last week on his show, he manipulated recordings from one her audio books into seemingly racist and sexually graphic sound bites.

Says Dolly:

“I have never been so shocked, hurt and humiliated in all my life. In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth. … If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it’s going to be over this. Just wanted you to know that I am completely devastated by this.”

Did Howard cross the line? Or was he just being Howard?
