He may have revealed a little more in his recent underwear ads, but
David Beckham opens up about his life in the December issue of British
GQ.
Looking sexier than ever as he reclines on a Chesterfield sofa with a white silk scarf draped round his neck, the soccer ace chats about all things including his family, his friends and his career.
Here are some highlights:
David on whether he hopes to develop a film career: “What film career? I haven’t got one. Never say never, except about that! And that’s the way it’s going to stay.”
David on mingling with famous friends like Tom Cruise: “He came round for dinner a few weeks ago. But it’s the same with him. We just go round and watch a film. It’s not a big deal, it’s just popping round to watch a film or to mess around and play with the kids.”
David on claims that Tom has tried to convert him or his wife Victoria to Scientology: “I respect any person’s religion. Everybody’s got their own ideas. And, of course, Tom is a big believer in Scientology, but he’s never pushed anything on to us about it and he never will do. Friends don’t do that.”
David on America: “We’re happy here at the moment, that’s the biggest thing. When your family are happy, that’s all you can ask for.”

Victoria and David Beckham took their eldest son Brooklyn for dinner at the trendy Madeo restaurant in Beverly Hills last night.
Perhaps the family wants to soak up as much of the Los Angeles lifestyle as possible before they relocate to Italy for a few months!

For his part, Becks said today that he felt “honoured” about the prospect of a loan move to “one of the biggest sides in the world” in Italian giants AC Milan but stressed his long-term future was with L.A. Galaxy.
Says the soccer ace, “I’ve been given the chance to join up with Milan for a couple of months and I’m very honoured. To be on the pitch and the training field and get experience with those players is a big honour for myself. It also gives me a chance to keep my fitness up and also carry that on for when I come back to the Galaxy for the MLS season.” He added: “It doesn’t mean I’m leaving the States. “I’m still very committed to being a Galaxy player. I came to the Galaxy to win trophies and I want to do that. I’m also very committed to my role as the MLS ambassador.”

Victoria Beckham is taking her latest gig as full-time fashion designer quite seriously.
While most of us were relaxing on our day off, Posh was busy at work filming an ad for her clothing line dVb at Wrotham Park in Hertfordshire, England.
Though her far more photogenic hubby was not in the commercial itself, a casually dressed David Beckham was on hand to lend some support.

After spending days apart promoting their respective projects, Britain’s most stylish couple Victoria and David Beckham enjoy a night out on the town at the J Sheekey seafood restaurant in London on Friday night.
During their meal, Posh and Becks had a brief visit from Geri Halliwell and Little Britain star David Walliams.
On this night out, Victoria did not fail to impress in the style department rocking a modest black mini-dress with arguably the hottest shoes ever made, a pair of spiky gold heel created by Christian Louboutin for Rodarte fresh from the Fall 2008 collection.
Janet Jackson also donned the fierce footwear during an outing in Las Vegas with Tyra Banks.
Never have shoes been such a statement on their own. Do we love them or do we love them?

It’s often easy to forget that
David Beckham, the superstar midfielder for the Los Angeles Galaxy, is actually a soccer player.
With all his non-soccer related projects — cologne, GM, Walker’s cookies, underwear — the visual of David bending it like Beckham is sometimes just a memory.
The latest non-sport-related project for Brand Beckham is the promotion of a new line of healthy food for children from GO3, a food manufacturing company in England. The line includes pasta, omelets, and, yes, fish fingers.
The hubby of Victoria Beckham rushed back to London from Belarus, where he helped England win their latest World Cup qualifier, in order to take part in the GO3’s official launch at Wembley Stadium. He was joined by 250 children and he emphasized his role as a father for the decision to take on GO3’s project.
Says Becks: “As a Dad I know how hard it is to get kids to eat the right things. I also know as a footballer, how important it is to eat the right things to perform well, so I think the GO3 range is a great way to help families take some small steps to be fit and healthy at affordable prices.”

While wife Victoria is back in L.A. likely shopping this very minute, hubby David Beckham is hard at work training with the England team.
Photogs caught up with the hunky soccer ace in London Colney where he was working up quite a sweat during a 2-hour practice session.
Meanwhile, Becks is opening up about the pressures of marriage. The celebrity hubby tells British OK!: “We have quite a lot of pressure, honestly, as a couple. But I think having our children around takes all the pressure away. Either of us could have had the worst day at work, but it doesn’t matter because then you come home and see your sons smiling. There are pressures on us as a couple, but we’ve had that since we first started going out, so we got used to it over the years. We have a way of working through it by looking out for each other.”
As for David’s thoughts on his wife’s best assets? “Her legs! She was in the Spice Girls when I first saw her and she used to wear these miniskirts and everyone used to say: ‘Who’s your favourite Spice Girl?’ I’d always say: ‘The one with the bob, the one with the legs.’ And that was my answer – all because she had these amazing legs.”

So, how does Victoria Beckham keep her couture-friendly figure?
By not eating? Wrong!
The self-appointed style icon tells Extra, “I run four miles, seven days a week. I didn’t used to be, but got quite into it when the Olympics started.”
Posh also said that she and hubby David definitely plan to see BFF Katie Holmes’ new Broadway show. “We can’t wait to come support Katie,” she said. “Tom [Cruise] says she’s amazing, the reviews have been amazing. We’re so proud of her.”
Meanwhile, Becks is up for bids. At Madonna’s Malawi benefit, Salma Hayek outbid Anna Wintour to pay $350 000 for a private hour playing soccer with him.
Now you have the same chance. The soccer ace has donated a one hour one-on-one lesson to CharityBuzz.com. Fans can place bids until November 10. High bid right now is $35 000 so start saving your pennies!

What’s better than one Beckham? Two Beckhams!!
And that’s just how many showed up as David and Victoria Beckham arrived on the red carpet for the the Beckham Signature fragrance launch at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City today.
Earlier in the day, Posh hit up another NYC landmark — Live with Regis and Kelly — where she talked David, David and more David.
When asked if she still gets butterflies in her stomach when she sees her hubby of 9 years, Victoria professed: “Yeah, I do. We spend a lot of time together, we go on date nights we go away together, we love our kids and everything we do revolves around the children, but we spend a lot of time together, which I think is really important.” She added: “‘I love him more now than I did when I first met him all those years ago. We are very lucky to have each other. We really compliment each other. Everyone says ‘God David is so good looking’ and I’m funny, and it is cool to be funny. I tell David that looks will fade.”
As for her thoughts on the ever-present paparazzi? “It is tricky when the kids are around, and sometime the paparazzi do get violent and drive dangerously and it is not fair on the kids. That is the sad thing about it. At least we never have to take a camera anywhere because someone else will always capture that moment. And they often retouch them too, which is perfect. I look a damn site better in those pictures than in my own ones.”

An angelic David Beckham had his game face on as England played Croatia in a World Cup 2010 qualifying match in Zagreb, Croatia yesterday.
While he did come on in the closing minutes of the match, it isn’t about goals and minutes played anymore for the former soccer ace. The game marked his 105th cap — four more and he moves past Bobby Moore’s 108 record, making Becks the most capped outfield player in the country’s history.
Meanwhile, as David’s career seems to be dwindling away, wife Victoria Beckham’s is blowing up. In addition to her new range of pricey frocks, she’s adding an unlikely title to her growing resume — restaurateur.
Posh going into partnership with Gordon Ramsay to open a new eaterie in Los Angeles.
Says the celeb chef: “Yes, it is true that Victoria and I are setting up a restaurant in LA. together. I’m really excited. She’s really keen to focus on a traditional English-style menu, like bangers and mash, fish and chips and such like.”
Fried British food for the fickle microbiotic L.A. crowd? Tsk, tsk — looks like someone hasn’t been doing her market research homework!!

Check out David and Victoria Beckham’s hot new ad for their latest his and hers fragrance, Signature.
While we love to be full of criticisms when it comes to these two, we give them praise for realizing that sex sells, but not crossing the line between being suggestive and putting it all out there for everyone to see.
Now if only they could teach Eva Mendes a thing or two….
