Over 700 Hollywood types gathered this morning at The Beverly Hills Hotel to celebrate The Hollywood Reporter’s Power 100 Women in Entertainment.
Topping the coveted list: Disney exec Anne Sweeney.
Hairspray stars John Travolta and Queen Latifah were on hand to speak in front of the star-studded audience. Meanwhile, Oscar-winner Jodie Foster, who dazzled in Oscar de la Renta, received the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, presented to a woman who has been a pioneer or leader in her field in the entertainment industry.
Needless to say, this was also the gayest event in Hollywood since the last Heatherette fashion show.

Brenda Strong, Eva Longoria and Nicolette Sheridan were among the famous faces who gathered last night to celebrate the Seventh Annual Fund-Raising Gala, ‘El Sueno De Esperanza’, at The Lot in West Hollywood last night.
Newly married Eva served as Gala Chair while comedian George Lopez was in place as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies.
The ceremony’s theme, ‘An Evening for Celebration and Hope’ paid tribute to the extraordinary children and families of PADRES - a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer and their families.
At the star-studded event, Eva told E! News that she has officially added husband Tony Parker’s last name to hers.
“I actually completely adopted the new name and I love it…I’m a Parker now,” said the Desperate Housewife. She went on to say that the new name is going over well, so far, “especially in Texas, everyone is really respectful there…I’ve been Mrs. Parker for the past month there and it’s really nice to hear.”
Look for the new credit on Sunday night’s ‘Desperate Housewives’!

Looks like all those hours of sitting in front of the TV doing Winsor Pilates does a body good!
Daisy Fuentes was all champagne kisses and caviar dreams while frolicking on the sandy shores of sunny St. Barts recently.
The young actress/model/fashion designer has escaped the US where she has come under fire for using a sweatshop in Guatemala to produce her clothing line at Kohl’s department stores.
According to the NYC-based National Labor Committee, conditions at the apparel factory, Fribo, S.A, in Santiago Sacatepequez are abusive and illegal under Guatemalan law.
Workers are paid twenty-five cents for each Daisy Fuentes blouse that sells for $22-38 in the United States.
What’s more? Workers (mostly female) are cheated of health care, maternity and pension benefits.
Gee, I wonder how well eternal guilt goes with a $500 bottle of Cristal champagne?
