Grey’s Anatomy’s Ellen Pompeo has tied the knot with her music exec beau, Chris Ivery.

The pair — who got engaged a year ago — wed Friday in a brief ceremony at New York’s City Hall, where Mayor Michael Bloomberg — a Massachusetts native like Pompeo, 38 — served as their witness, The Boston Globe reports. First Deputy Mayor Patti Harris accompanied the couple, the paper said.”They are over the moon,” the Globe quoted Pompeo’s rep, Jennifer Allen, as saying.

As you may (or may not) recall, Ellen has gone on endlessly in the past saying she wouldn’t go for the usual Hollywood hoopla, preferring a quiet wedding instead. And low-key it was. The ceremony was only minutes long and Bloomberg was their sole withness.
