The inappropriately-dressed songbird skipped the red carpet show due to a timing mix-up (read: she was late), but Mimi managed to get her sh*t together in time to perform her summer jam, I’ll Be Lovin’ You Long Time.

The cast of Gossip Girl was without a doubt the belle of the ball. The show picked up enough surfboards to start a small Olympic team.
Hayden Panettierre picked up the award for Choice TV Actress in an Action Adventure. Needless to say, the Heroes actress was more than thrilled.

That’s resident cable network prettyboy Chace Crawford and his equally pretty blue-eyed counterpart Zac Efron at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
After posing for a slew of compulsory photo-ops with his Disney gal pal Vanessa Hudgens, Zac wisely cozied up to multiple nominee Chace whose hit CW show is up for a slew of awards tonight, including Choice TV Breakout Show.

Running away from endless gay rumours linking him with costar

Chace Crawford was spotted arriving at LAX in Los Angeles today with headphones to drown out the noise of the airport.
Seconds after touching down first class, the young actor was given a personal airport usher — much like all other celebs. Not having to stand in line, Chace bypassed customs and was lead to an awaiting chauffeured vehicle from BLS Limousine Services. From there, the Gossip Girl hunk was whisked to a 5-star hotel, his bags loaded and delivered courtesy of the hired staff.
Who needs to move a muscle (or think for that matter!) when you look so damn pretty?

Well, well, well….look who crept out of the Delano Hotel in Miami last night looking all squint-eyed and confused.
Why, it was none other than Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford and one-time boy bander J.C. Chasez!!
After a wild night of pre-New Year’s Eve festivities, the fabulously coiffed stars were spotted leaving the celeb haunt en route to destination unknown.
Chace is in Miami to host the Knights Head Microbrew New Year’s bash at the Raleigh Hotel. J.C…..well, let’s just say he’ll be lucky if he gets passed the velvet ropes.

Meanwhile, the uber stylish cast of the hit CW show are among the new Style Stars for 2008, says Gina Kelly, fashion director of Seventeen who helped pick the list for the magazine’s December/January issue.
“It’s the younger generation of celebrities who enjoy the most influence over the fashion world because they’re the ones willing to take the risks that inspire new trends,” says Kelly, who noted that Gossip Girls has filled in the style-savvy void left by Sex and the City.
Other honourees include Miley Cyrus, Rachel Bilson and Emma Watson.
