Always the gracious star,
Celine Dion was sure to stop and pose for pictures, sign autographs and talk to her fans and media while she, her husband
René Angélil and son
René-Charles Angélil were leaving their hotel in Paris today.
At first it seemed as if she were going to try to bypass the fan and media crush due to the fact her son was with her, but she’s never one to disappoint the many that adore her.
Love ya, Celine!

Celine Dion launched her Taking Chances world tour in Johannesburg last night.
Today, she’s posing in traditional Zulu beadwork and headgear at a school children meals program in Soweto.

Joined by her 7-year-old son Rene Charles (that’s him with the long hair) and husband/manager Rene Angelil, the Canadian chanteuse helped provide meals for poor, orphaned and abandoned kids.
Angelina would be proud.

Blending chic with casual, Celine Dion dropped by the NYC set of the Today Show today to chat about her first studio album in four years, Taking Chances, and the world tour she’s starting next year.

The Canadian diva sang three songs, including one from her new album that showed a throatier and tougher singer than she’s ever shown in a career built on sweetness and soul.
It’s edgier,” explained Celine. “I always loved that type of music. I grew up listening to Creedence, Doobie Brothers, Janis Joplin, but the composers and songwriters never proposed to me to sing that type of music.”
As for the upcoming tour? “I think it’s a great thing to go on the road now,” she continued, adding that she’s taking her son and her mother with her when she leaves for South Africa in February.
And, oh, by the way, she finished the interview by mentioning that she wants to have another child, saying, “We’re going to be working on it!”
Bonne chance, Celine!
