The gallery of fans may have been a bit smaller this year because of the rain, but the red carpet leading to the gala for the 19th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival was filled with plenty of celebs on Saturday night.

Hollywood A-listers Eva Mendes, Bruce Willis and model Petra Nemcova were among the many who turned out the ‘Heart Of Gold Ball’ to benefit The Happy Hearts Fund at Cipriani’s Wall street location in New York City on Wednesday night.
And by the looks of things, hearts weren’t the only things that were happy during the star-studded fundraiser.

In the too-cool-for-school corner stood actor/director/activist Tim Robbins and musician/activist Wyclef.
Something tells me they weren’t in the midst of a serious discussion about last week’s episode of ‘The Hills’…..
Recent rumours had big screen beauty Uma Thurman engaed to her Swiss millionaire boyfriend, Arpad “Arki” Busson. While there was no ring on the ‘Kill Bill’ actress’ finger, the cozied up couple appeared very much in love.
The Happy Hearts Fund is a charitable campaign started in 2005 by Petra Nemcova after her miraculous survival and recovery from the Tsunami of 2004. Its mission is to aid children in need who have suffered loss or hardship as a result of natural, economic or health related disasters.

Bruce Willis and his 13-year-old hipster daughter enjoy a sweet afternoon at the posh Los Angeles chocolate shop and boutique Boule.
The father-daughter duo ordered iced coffee, and the younger Willis also had Raspberry Rose sorbet.
The duo also picked out three apple tart tartins and three cheesecakes to go.

Bruce Willis is doing all it takes to mack his latest pair-of-boobs-on-legs model Tamara Witmer, who is just five years older than his daughter.
The Playboy model isn’t bothered about the age difference, but she admitted that she was a bit nervous when she met the 52-year-old in LA recently.
Tamara is absolutely smitten by his voice and she finds him “really good-looking in person.”
“He’s got the sexiest voice! He’s so smooth and suave. I don’t mind the bald head. He’s really good-looking in person,” the New York Daily News quoted her, as saying.
If things do not work out with Bruce, the boobilicious babe is planning to take a chance with other celebs like Lakers’ Luke Walton or Owen Wilson.
As regarding Owen, who is presently bedding Kate Hudson, Tamara said that she has heard that the actor can be a bit difficult, but she doesn’t mind going out with him.
“I heard he’s a real dog. Still, I love going out with celebrities. I’m always up for it,” she said.
Heck, I’m sure Tamara would be up for a good ole kick to the face so long as the boot that is implanted into her face belongs to that of a celebrity.

After 12 years, ‘Die Hard’’s John McClane is set to return to the big screen on June 27.
Megawatt star Bruce Willis tells the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair: “A lot of the physical stuff that they had me doing was still, let’s say, low-tech. I don’t bounce as well off the concrete floors as I used to. … I’m glad I didn’t wait a couple more years to do this.”
Life has changed a great deal for Bruce since the last ‘Die Hard.’ After 11 years of marriage and three children, he and Demi Moore split up in 1998 and were divorced in 2000. Demi married Ashton Kutcher in 2005, and Bruce was among the wedding guests.
He refers to the Moore-Kutchers as his “extended family,” according to Vanity Fair, which has photos of the group on vacation in Turks and Caicos, where he has a home. “It’s hard for people to understand,” he says, “but we go on holidays together. We still raise our kids together. … Demi is the mother of my children and Ashton is the stepfather of my children. I’m thrilled that Ashton turned out to be such a great guy. I love Demi, and I know she loves me.”
There’s no surer sign that things are going sour than at last night’s New Jersey Nets/Toronto Raptors game when Bruce became the focal point of the entertainment.
Bruce, who had already dropped a rather graphic expletive during an in-game interview on TSN when he signed off with his “Yipee-ki-yay” tag line from his ‘Die Hard’ movies, attracted serious interest from photo buffs as he left his courtside seat.

Lucky Halle Berry was sandwiched between two of her favourite leading men last night when she attended the New York premiere of ‘Perfect Stranger.’ The Oscar winner, who last week received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, not only had her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry at her side but also her hunky co-star Bruce Willis.
Next up for heavenly Halle? She’s set to play a woman who shaves her head to embrace her inner beauty in ‘Happily Ever After.’ But after ‘Good Morning America’ mocked-up what she’d look like with no hair, she says she’s considering faking it. “Now maybe I’ll wear a cap,” she said. “I’m going to have to re-think this.”
For a woman who went 10 days without showering or brushing her teeth in order to play a crack addict in ‘Jungle Fever’, we’re thinking a new hair ‘do isn’t too much to ask for from a dedicated thespian such as Halle.
Christy Turlington and Ed Norton were among the stars who turned out to catch the thriller, in which Halle plays an undercover journalist investigating the murder of her best friend.
