Blake Lively trades in her upper west Gucci clothes to wear some punk clothes on set of the The Private Lives of Pippa Lee in Jennins Beach, Fairfield Connecticut.
The Gossip Girl starlet joins an elite cast, including Keanu Reeves, Julianne Moore, Winona Ryder, Monica Bellucci and Robin Wright Penn, in author Rebecca Miller’s novel-turned-flick.
The pic will focus on “a dutiful wife whose husband falls for a younger woman, freeing her to explore her buried sensuality and leading to a very quiet nervous breakdown.” It’s been confirmed that Wright Penn is the wife, and Ryder is the younger woman.
This sounds like a great cast. We look forward to a story about a freshly divorced woman looking to fill her coffers with revenge sex!

Talk about a disappointment!!!!!
She stars in one of the most fashionable shows on television and this is what Gossip Girl star Blake Lively decides to show up in at Monday night’s Costume Institute Gala?
The night was themed “Superheroes: Fashion And Fantasy.” Which superhero ever boasted rhinestone-studded gloves and feathered hemlines?
We expected a whole lot more than this boring strapless Chanel couture creation from the upper East Side Manhattan mode mistress.

Our favourite Grey’s doc, Ellen Pompeo, and our favourite Gossip Girl, Blake Lively, were among the stars at the Chanel “A Night of Diamonds” dinner at The Plaza in New York last night.
Chanel’s jewelry division hosted the private dinner to mark the U.S. debut of 20 one-of-a-kind pieces from the Chanel archives and the Vendôme Collection.
The ‘Nuits de Diamants’ was a black and white event with precious gems worth millions of dollars on display as adornment on the necks, ears, and fingers of a few lucky guests.
Other A-list attendees included Selma Blair, Penn Badgley, Christy Turlington and Ed Burns.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively is the cover girl of the new Lucky magazine.
The 20-year-old actress talks about some of her favourite things in the ‘Hot List’ issue:
Blake on her favourite style icons: “My style has been totally influenced by Audrey Hepburn and Kate Moss equally—they’re such fashion icons. But Sienna Miller’s young urban style is also totally what I’m going for.”
Blake on her favourite musicians: “My favorite music is Ray Charles for when I want to feel mellow, and Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake when I want something more funky.”
Blake on what she would do if she wasn’t acting: “I would love to open my own interior decorating business…I grew up reading Martha Stewart and the William Sonoma catalog, I was never interested in things like Teen Beat.”
Blake on how she developed her style: “Growing up, I was constantly borrowing clothes from my older sisters, or I’d pick out something from Urban Outfitters and my mom would tailor it to my size—I don’t think I ever dressed like a kid. Now that I’m on Gossip Girl, the wardrobe is so amazing and inspiring, it’s opened a whole new style gateway for me.”

Stars from the new hit show Gossip Girl films with most of its hot young cast at a school on the Upper East Side in Manhattan on Tuesday.
Up-and-comer Blake Lively was having some funny moments on the set with her co-stars including Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, and Penn Badgley. The 19-year-old actress also laughed as she was being assisted in getting her wireless microphone put up her jacket and then posed up with a production assistant as the wind blew in her hair.
Finally Blake and Penn share a kiss on the set and they all lived happily ever after.

Shove a cheek, Misha Barton – there’s a new “it” girl in town!
Twenty-year-old ‘Gossip Girl’ star Blake Lively offers up some refreshingly candid quotes in the November issue of CosmoGIRL!
Blake on becoming a Hollywood star overnight: “It is a crazy and completely insane business. I’ll go to an event wearing some designer gown and tens of thousands of dollars in jewels that were lent to me for the night, and I’ll walk around and meet people who I always thought were such a big deal…Stars really are like anyone else. At the end of the day, Brad Pitt poops–as handsome as he may be–and so does Angelina Jolie. I’m still baffled by how odd this job is.”
Blake on Hollywood’s “bad girls: “I think some people who bash on the girls in Hollywood who are struggling with addiction or going into rehab aren’t being totally fair; it’s not solely their fault. When you don’t have someone to model yourself after, you’re going to make mistakes. There’s no one there to tell them what’s right or wrong or who is a positive example.”
Blake on her celebrity crushes: “As a kid, I had a huge crush on Leonardo DiCaprio and, oh my gosh, Justin Timberlake. They were the two I can really think of just being completely in love with.”
Blake on what she’d be doing, if not acting: “I’d be doing something like Martha Stewart. I love planning and throwing parties. If I ever met Martha, I think I’d cry.”
