Sisters by not just blood but also in retail, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen put their game faces on as they step out in Beverly Hills on Tuesday for an afternoon shopping spree at celeb fave Maxfield.
While older sis Ashley kept it casual yet sophisticated in skinny jeans, a plain tee and linen scarf, wild child MK opted for an oversized Hefty trash bag, Prada’s furry Napa Fringe Hobo purse and sky high peep-toes.
It is a true feat that the malnourished millionairesses can balance those gigantic purses while wearing those 5″ pumps!
Talk about talent!

Newly legal Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were their usual courteous and media-friendly selves as they stepped out for an afternoon of sushi, sashimi and sake yesterday at Malibu hotspot Nobu.
As a herd of flash-happy photogs surrounded the pint-sized twins, MK and Ash tried to cover their faces with their keys, phones and jewelry as they entered the A-list eatery.
A futile attempt for privacy, to say the least.

The Olsen gals hit up celeb fave Il Sole last night for an evening of good good, great company and desperate attempts at hiding from the paparazzi.
After chowing down on some lettuce leaves and ice water, Mary-Kate and Ashley made a sudden B-line to their chauffeured SUV where Ashley thought it appropriate to practice a few duck and cover moves.

Pint-sized mogulette Ashley Olsen proves that the easiest way to attain a high fashion-worthy body is two grande soy lattes and a whole lot of perseverance.
The possibly less stylish Olsen twin, rocking an oversized tee, miniskirt and flats, got her caffeine fix on in Zuma Beach, CA today before making her way to her Dualstar offices to discuss the launch of her upcoming clothing line, Elizabeth and James.
Proof positive that when you’re working on no food, a little bit of java goes a long way.

She makes headlines for her head-turning fashion choices, but it was a very casual Ashley Olsen who stepped out yesterday in New York City (accompanied by her 200 lbs bodyguard, of course) for an afternoon of — what else — retail therapy.
Rocking Christian Louboutin peep-toes, skinny jeans and an oversized t-shirt (very hot look!), Ashley is in the Big Apple alongside twin sis Mary-Kate to attend a number of business meetings regarding their hip new fashion line for young women called Elizabeth and James.
MK and Ashley also just rolled out a more expensive line (think $195 T-shirts) called The Row at Barneys New York — a far cry from their ruffly bathing suits and floral tops and bottoms for pre-teens under their Mary-Kate and Ashley label at Wal-Mart.

Rocking a black gown from her label, The Row, she told reporters: “It’s one of my own designs. It’s elegant and sophisticated.”

Prior to their hosting gig as emcees for the 2007 CFDA Fashion Awards warm-up dinner, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen attended a glitzy dinner hosted by Nadja Swarovski in honour of the nominees and honorees.
Posing alongside some of the biggest names in New York fashion, the Olsen brood managed to hold their own as they discussed their upcoming fashion label, Elizabeth and James, with the likes of fashion heavyweight Diane von Furstenberg.
While MK kept it simple and chic in black, Ashley dared to go 80s, rocking leggings and an oversized white blazer with rolled up sleeves (fashion trend alert!).

Pint-sized fashionista Ashley Olsen was spotted leaving her agent’s office in Beverly Hills yesterday rocking Chanel’s yet unavailable two-tone bi-focal sunglasses.
Judging by the personal escort she received on her way out, we’re not sure yet whether Ash was actually able to see through her new shades, but what does it matter, right? Sight is a small sacrifice to make in the name of fashion.

As if Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen weren’t busy enough, the twins are on to a new venture — the launch of Elizabeth and James, a contemporary sportswear line, ready for fall selling.
Named after the Olsens’ younger sister, Elizabeth, and older brother, James, the line is the latest addition to the extensive portfolio of brands managed by the twins’ 14-year-old company, the Culver City, Calif.-based Dualstar Entertainment Group. For the new brand, the Olsens teamed up with L’Koral Industries, a Vernon, Calif.-based firm owned by partners Peter Koral and Jane Siskin. Best known for their multilabel junior business and the creation of the Seven For All Mankind brand, as well as contemporary label LaRok, L’Koral expects volume in excess of $200 million this year.
That’s nearly enough money for a lifetime’s worth of Balenciaga ankle boots!
