Ashley Judd has taken her social activism to the next level!
The 41-year-old actress, who has lent her voice to such causes as wildlife, mountaintop removal coal mining and YouthAIDS, has recently enrolled in the Harvard Kennedy School’s Mid-Career Master in Public Administration program.
Launched July 22, the program often attracts public officials and non-profit activists.

The actress is calling for an end to the mining practice known as mountaintop removal.
Ashley was among hundreds of people who collected outside the Kentucky state Capitol yesterday (February 17) for a rally in support of legislation that would more-or-less end the practice of blasting away mountaintops to unearth coal.

The actress/activist condemns the Governor of Alaska for “championing the slaughter of wildlife” on behalf of the Defenders of Wildlife organization.
