Angelina Jolie arrived at the French Riviera hospital in the southern French city of Nice on Sunday.

The expectant actress has a suite of rooms reserved for her and babydaddy Brad Pitt, which have been sealed off by bodyguards.

Doctors say Angelina needs simple surveillance by monitoring in the weeks to come to ensure the good health of her babies.

Thankfully the paparazzi will be there to document every single moment.

According to French reports, Angie was spotted by the paparazzi chatting with a guest near her room’s window with her shirt laying loosely on top of her curved tummy. However, there are many out there adamant that what’s seen through the window is a “body double.”

Our thoughts?

Angelina Jolie’s doctor, Dr. Michel Sussmann gave a news conference about Angelina and her twins’ health at the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France today.

He told reporters his superstar patient is doing fine and that the twins are expected to arrive “in the weeks to come.”

Meanwhile, veteran British celebrity publicist Max Clifford told APTN earlier this week that first photos of the twins could fetch millions. “France has got very, very strict privacy laws, which gives them far greater chance of controlling everything and making sure no one gets some sneaky photos,” he said. “But of course the stakes are high and this is probably going to be the most expensive set of baby pictures in history.”

The Brangelina baby watch continues as Brad Pitt was spotted leaving the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, and Angelina Jolie’s doctor plans to give a press conference today.

Will he announce that her twins had been born?

That remains a mystery.

Meanwhile the local newspaper, Nice Matin, reported that Angie has the best room in the hospital, on the fifth floor, with an “unobstructed view” over the Bay of Angels. She arrived by helicopter, landing Sunday afternoon on the hospital’s roof. The new mom/mom-to-be reserved four rooms on the maternity ward, with a bodyguard keeping watch.

Here we go again!!

A French magazine is reporting that Angelina Jolie has given birth to her twins. This, of course, would be the second time they’ve arrived ever since Entertainment Tonight incorrectly reported their initial delivery.

From Huffington Post:

En exclusivite mondiale, Closer est en mesure de vous annoncer qu’Angelina Jolie aurait accouché ce matin dans un hôpital français ! La star serait rentrée hier soir en salle de travail. Toute reproduction interdite sans la mention du site closermag.

Translation: Angelina went into labor last night and gave birth this morning in a French hospital.

No comment from Camp Brangelina…yet.

UPDATE: The Associated Press out of Paris has confirmed that Angelina is in a hospital in Nice and a spokeswoman says everything is going well.

UPDATE: In Touch Weekly reports that Angie is not in the hospital to have the babies, but checked into the clinic in Nice yesterday “as part of a pre-planned rest period, before she gives birth,” says Nadine Bauer, spokeswoman for the hospital. “The visit has been planned for a long time, there are no complications. She is just resting” Bauer adds. Angelina’s babies are expected to be delivered by French doctor Michele Sussmann and her regular OBGYN Jason Rothbart, who is due to fly to Europe later this week.

Stay tuned to FYB for any further developments.

Looks like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s estate in Aix-en-Provence will be open for pig hunting in a couple of months, after all.

As you may recall, the animal-loving duo were not too keen on the idea of allowing the traditional August boar hunt to take place on the grounds of their estate in France. But after some consternation, the president of the village’s hunt society has reportedly declared that it will be open season on August 15.

The tabloid took to the skies this week to snap a photo of Angelina Jolie, who was clearly still pregnant as of June 22, the date when this shot was taken.

Sources tell In Touch that Angie’s due date is now July 15.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s sense of charity is infinite: The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict announced today that the supercouple has donated $1 million to aid children affected by the war in Iraq.

Brangelina’s Jolie-Pitt Foundation will distribute the donation to four organizations working on behalf of children who have lost parents, homes and schools in Iraq.

The four groups include the Armed Services YMCA Operation Hero Program, which provides military children with counseling and educational support; Women for Women International, which will provide books, school supplies and other basic necessities to Iraqi women and children; the International Rescue Committee, which will repair three schools and offer classes for more than 2500 students; and NineMillion.org, which will give school uniforms and learning materials to more than 2000 displaced Iraqi kids.

And, yes, children in the U.S. who have lost parents in the conflict will also benefit.

ANGELINA JOLIE DOES ‘ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY’

The Jolie-Pitt clan is inescapable, between Angelina’s upcoming movie Wanted and the arrival of their twins in France any day now. She opens up to Entertainment Weekly about the trouble with finding gifts for Brad, special time with the kids and the new tattoo she drew for him.

Angie on who helps her read scripts: “I’m terrible at reading scripts. I love to read and I hate reading scripts. Brad reads a lot because he’s also producing. We’re always joking about the fact that I just hate it. I have no patience. I can’t watch movies either. What usually will happen is I’ll talk to Geyer about what stage I’m at in my life and what type of a woman or story I’m looking to tell. Like with Wanted, I call and say, ”I really feel like I have to do something that’s physical right now.” Right now I don’t want to work at all. I want to stay home, so the few things we’ve talked about are the amazing, once-in-your-lifetime things, like Atlas Shrugged. But other than that, I’m not looking.”

Angie on whether she and Brad are thinking about doing Atlas Shrugged together: “We’ve talked about that. But we’ve also talked about, Would that be good for the film? It would have to really work for the audience and not hurt the story. It’s been 50 years of people trying to pull a movie together. If it comes together it’d be hard to say no to. The people who have the rights are itching to do it. They were itching to do it before, but [looks at her pregnant belly] I got myself in a state!”

Angie on her being polarizing (either you love her or hate her): “I’d like to think it’s because I’m not neither here nor there in my life. I think anybody that makes a decision about where they stand is going to cause strong opinions about them. But I think that’s what you should be hoping for in life, so I take that as a very good sign. That some people support me and some people really don’t like me tells me that I’m making decisions and I’m standing strong for something I believe in. I’m making choices in life. And that’s the right thing to do.”

Angelina on reconciling her previous knives and cutting persona to her newfound humanitarian mother persona: “But again, it’s not that different. The reason I talked about going through certain pains or even cutting myself is that I was already out the other side. I knew there were people that do that — and somehow are happy that somebody admitted they did and discussed how they got out of it. I don’t see the point of doing an interview unless you’re going to share the things you learn in life and the mistakes you make. So to admit that I’m extremely human and have done some dark things, I don’t think makes me unusual or unusually dark. I think it actually is the right thing to do and I’d like to think it’s the nice thing to do.”

Angie on whether she has any regrets (like all that business about wearing the vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood around her neck)?: “No! It was never a vial anyway. It was like a flower press. It was like from a slight cut on your finger and you press your fingerprint in. It was kind of a sweet gesture. I thought it was kind of romantic! I still love him dearly and think the world of him and I’m proud to have been his wife for a time. I don’t believe in regrets. It’s a dangerous habit to get into — it makes you pause in your life if you start thinking back and questioning yourself.”

Angelina on what she learned from her mother about being a mother: “When Brad saw Changeling he said he could see my mother. That was very much my mother. Hated yelling at people, really was so decent and so sweet, but when it came to protecting her children, she somehow found this odd strength. There’s an elegance to her that I don’t really have; there’s a kindness.”

Angie on the best and worst things about being pregnant: “It’s all just so nice. You just really can’t complain about anything as long as you know the babies are looking healthy. The only thing that’s hard for me now is with twins and having four kids, there’s a lot of the doctor saying ”Stop picking them up as much.” But we’ve worked out a system where Brad just lifts them to me every time they want to come up. I just don’t bend down. I’ll scream, ”Honey!” and he’ll come running and lift them up. Or they climb on chairs, so it’s not as big of a lift. So we’re trying to follow doctor’s orders, but I’m bending them a tiny bit.”

Angie on how she will handle soon having six kids all under the age of 8 under one roof: “Well, we weren’t expecting twins! So it did shock us, and we jumped to six quickly. But we like a challenge. We really don’t know. His mom and dad are on standby to come out and help. And fortunately we can hire help if we need it, but we’re going to try as we usually do to balance it as well as we can. The only thing for us when a new child comes home is just balancing the others. Our real focus now is: How do we make sure that the babies’ coming is not upsetting to other kids and makes them feel included. They’re old enough to feel included to change diapers themselves, to feed bottles themselves, like if I pump into a bottle. We’re trying to find ways where it can be a fun group thing. But the hard thing is every single day trying to find time for each of them privately. ‘Cause that’s our big thing. With our eldest, we have that last half an hour at night; Shiloh tends to be the first up in the morning. Everybody gets special time so we can make sure we know where they’re at.”

Angie on her ideal way to spend a free Saturday: “I have a lot of those. Very simple things. On weekends we usually have family sleep. We always have one night a week where everybody stays up late, watches a movie, and stays in our bed. We have, like, a slumber party.”

Angie on Brad’s new tattoo: “I drew that. We went to Davos. It’s not that we were bored at the World Economic Forum, but one night we didn’t have anything to do, so I was drawing on his back.”

Angie on whether the tattoo has any meaning: “I mean, it’s meaningful in that it’s us making angles and shapes out of each other’s body, that kind of a thing.”
