Will publicity-loving Madonna go to the All-Star game tonight?
Sources say Madge is planning on ramping up rumours that she’s hooking up with Alex Rodriguez by cheering him on during tonight’s All-Star game at Yankee Stadium.
“She, [manager] Guy Oseary and some friends have tickets and are planning on going,” said a spy. “She doesn’t care about the press it will get - she loves it. It just gets her more publicity for her upcoming Sticky and Sweet tour.”
Proof positive that Madonna has never come across a controversy that she didn’t embrace and make work for her!

New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez and his wife of five years have split, just as reports linking him with Madonna have surfaced.
Meanwhile, A-Rod’s wife has been staying with Lenny Kravitz, a former love of Madge’s.
So, are the scorned ex-wife and the womanizing rocker hooking up? Heck no…..or so says Lenny.
In a just-released statement, A-Rod says there is no truth to the story that his wife Cynthia is “shacking up” with Lenny.
“There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself,” he tells Us Weekly. “This is unequivocally 100% not true. Cynthia is a friend and is here (in Paris) with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex’s trainer, his wife and their baby girl,” he adds. “She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer.”

Alex Rodriguez has made “numerous” late-night visits to
Madonna’s Central Park West apartment, according to
Us Weekly.
A-Rod has been seen arriving alone and sneaks out of Madge’s building “as late as midnight,” a source says, adding, “all the doormen are talking.”
What’s more? Alex attended Madonna’s April 30 concert in New York and Madge was spotted at a June 22 Yankees game.
And while rumours of a break-up have followed them for years, Madonna’s marriage to Guy Ritchie seems to be on the rocks for real this time, and both have reportedly hired divorce attorneys.
UPDATE: People got an “exclusive statement” from Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s spokeswoman. “Madonna’s husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving). There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce.”
Rosenberg also explained the A-Rod friendship, saying: “Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There’s really not anything to comment on beyond that.”
Adds Rosenberg: “It’s nothing new that people are airing tons of dirty laundry Madonna’s way lately – much of it untrue.” She joked: “By the way, rumors of Madonna and Lil Wayne are quite exaggerated as well.”
