Eva Mendes’ new ad for Calvin Klein Secret Obsession campaign has been controversial. The TV spots were banned by networks because she revealed a little too much of herself. And even this billboard, which was erected in Times Square yesterday morning had to be moved after the first building decided it was too racy.
In a statement, Eva says of the scandal: “I am so proud of (the ad). I am proud of being an American and am proud of my country, but I think we can be a little bit uptight about nudity sometimes.”
Our thoughts? Too racy for NYC?

Sanjaya Malakar is pitching Nationwide Insurance.
The American Idol reject is in a new ad that’s part of the company’s “Life Comes at You Fast” campaign.
Sporting a hairstyle similar to the ones he made famous while on the karaoke show, Sanjaya visits India to seek advice from a wise man who tells him he needs a retirement plan — and a haircut.
Check out the semi hilarious ad below!
Other celebrities who have poked fun at themselves in the campaign include such A-listers as Kevin Federline, Fabio and MC Hammer.

Gwyneth Paltrow has angered animal rights campaigners by appearing in an advert wearing fur.
The actress, who along with her husband, Chris Martin, supports a raft of ethical causes, is pictured draped in fox fur and wearing fur-lined boots for the Italian luxury goods company Tod’s.
A spokesman for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) said: “We’ve written to her many times, and sent her videos showing how animals suffer for fur, but have never received a response. Apparently her beauty really is only skin deep.”

Rumours are swirling that adult film icon Jenna Jameson might be pregnant.
Whether this is true or not, one thing is for sure: Jenna knows the importance of birth control—animal birth control (ABC), that is. That’s why Jenna posed nude alongside the tagline “Sometimes Too Much Sex Can Be a Bad Thing” in PETA’s latest ABC ad.
So, what is animal birth control? It means always spaying or neutering your companion animals and never buying from a breeder or pet store.
Says Jenna: “Until dogs and cats can go on the pill or wear condoms, we need to help them practice safe sex—by spaying and neutering. Millions of homeless animals are turned in to shelters every year because there simply aren’t enough good homes for them all. The answer is easy as ABC: animal birth control, which means get Fido and Fluffy fixed!”

American TV network bosses have banned Eva Mendes’ new Calvin Klein ad for being too sexy.
We beg to differ.
In the steamy commercial for Secret Obsession perfume, the gorgeous actress writhes topless on a bed.
As for Eva’s thoughts on being too hot for T.V.? “I love it,” says the 33-year-old actress. “That means the ads are totally Calvin, totally provocative and a little controversial.”

Christina Aguilera is helping mark Macy’s 150 years of retailing this October by lending her beautiful self to a series of commemorative photos.
Xtina’s involvement comes only days after Jessica Simpson’s just-shot holiday TV ad campaign for the department store.
While we have yet to see the outcome Jessica’s efforts, we are absolutely in love with Mrs. Bratman’s contribution.
