Her latest [album] appeared in stores on Nov. 18 and sprawls across two discs. It is ambitious, cutting through a myriad of styles -– from musings that wouldn’t be out of place on a Stevie Wonder or Joan Armatrading album, to flat-out, driving R&B for dancing and blasting from car stereos.
Despite a general thumbs up from music critics and a tireless promo campaign, Beyonce has yet to garner a #1 single from her third solo album. While If I Were a Boy peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, Single Ladies only managed to reach #39.

At the Fontainebleau Hotel opening in Miami over the weekend, PETA’s senior vice president, Dan Mathews, chatted with Paltrow. According to him, the 36-year-old actress made it clear: “I do not wear fur at all.”
So, what happened? “It was a daylong photo shoot on a boat near Capri, and there were all sorts of poses with all kinds of clothes - none with fur. During one set-up, a stylist came up from behind and draped a stole around my shoulder.”
She added: “I didn’t pay much attention to it, and when I noticed it was fur, I assumed it was fake fur, but did not ask, so it’s my fault. I was very surprised when they ended up using that one shot out of hundreds for the centerpiece of the Tod’s ads. I know it’s not a great excuse, but I hope you and your members understand.”
Jean-Claude Van Damme was doing an interview to promote his new flick JCVD with Newsweek’s Sarah Ball, but the action hero decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth and proceeded to hit on the 22-year-old journalist.
Oh, and did we mention that 48-year-old Jean-Claude is currently married to his fifth wife?

Jean-Claude: I really opened myself up in “JCVD.” I peeled back the skin of the fruit, cut the pulp and then took that very hard seed. In this film I cut that hard seed, and inside that seed was a kind of liquid cream substance of the man I am, or the woman you are.

Looking low-key in a black fedora and matching sunglasses, hunky Hugh Jackman was seen landing at LAX International Airport early this morning following a long flight from Syndey, Australia. Joined by wife Deborra-Lee Furness and their adorable kids, 3-year-old Ava and 8-year-old Oscar, the 40-year-old human specimen kindly signed a few autographs before slipping away in his awaiting vehicle.
