It’s The Office star Rainn Wilson and this is the poster for his new comedy The Rocker. Fox will be putting it up this weekend. The funny thing is: Rainn’s rep say that it’s an original picture of Wilson as a kid that has only been slightly doctored - the background, the glasses - but otherwise it’s all him.

The Rocker comes out August 1 and co-stars Christina Applegate. In it, Wilson plays a drummer for an 80s hair band on the cusp of making it big – then they fire him. Two decades later, he’s working a regular job he hates and gets the chance to drum for his nephew’s garage band and all his old bad habits come back along with his desire to push them to be the biggest band on earth.

Newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon stepped out last night to attend the 5th Annual Operation Smile Gala at Skylight Studio in New York City.

Operation Smile, a non-profit organization that Mimi has been associated with for years, is a group that fixes facial deformities for underprivileged kids.

Other A-list attendees included….umm…well….no one. But Donald Trump and Jamie-Lynn Sigler were also on hand to lend some D-list support.

Unemployed Lindsay Lohan was out and about in Beverly Hills yesterday getting her retail therapy on at Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana.

For the first time in quite a while, La Lohan did her daily luxury shopping sans her BFF/lover Sam Ronson.

Yesterday, Lindsay’s 14-year-old little sis Ali Lohan tried to set the record straight by proclaiming “they’re just friends.” So young….so naive.

Meanwhile, in a new interview with the Lohan matriarch, when asked whether she plans to do anything differently with Ali following Lindsay’s many mess ups, Dina Lohan says: “You don’t have children and have a rule book. Lindsay, whether she were in the business or not, fortunately or unfortunately made — we’re all going to make mistakes. I think Ali, too. God willing she’ll learn from what I instill in her and what her sister teaches her.”

One thing she has instilled in Ali: animosity toward tabloids.

Paris Hilton cooked up a storm upon her arrival at her Can Can fragrance launch party at the Dolce nightclub in London on Thursday night.

Welcomed by more paparazzi than fans, the celebrity perfumer and her double-chinned rocker boyfriend Benji Madden quickly slipped inside Brit celeb haunt after an aggressive altercation ensued when Paris shockingly didn’t offer photogs enough camera time.

First a few elbows were shoved. But before you know it, fists were flying, cops were called and it was an all out media melee.

Luckily the girl of the hour was unharmed and able to make it to her next destination — yet another soirée at Amika in Kensington High Street — without incident.

Brian made sure to have flowers delivered in the morning for his gal’s arrival.

Later that day, the two lovebirds grabbed a quick lunch at Mexican eatery Poquito Mas in Burbank, CA. And it appears Miss Fox loves herself some refried bean because she was snapped cuddling all over her man after the meal.

Pop rocker Pink hit the waves once again today in her kayak in sunny Malibu.

The newly single singer is back to wearing her beanie cap after showing off some new platinum tresses just a few days ago.

After taking a wave pretty hard, she called it a day and carried the small boat out of the ocean herself.

After an exhuasting 15 minutes in the water, Pink opted to take in the sun and stretch out a bit.

Hopefully she remembers to smother herself in sunscreen because after spending so much time outside in the hot California day, Pink was looking, well, pink!

While he waited to fill up his gas tank, the groom-to-be entertained himself by flipping through a “Stars Map.”

Meanwhile, when asked whether he has any wedding-related plans this weekend, Wentz kept it vague: “I got plans. I’m going to watch The Wedding Singer. … I’m going to do a whole Adam Sandler marathon and I’m going to watch The Wedding Singer. And then I might watch Father of the Bride. But probably Father of the Bride 2 ’cause I really like Martin Short.”

As for the first song he’ll dance to when he does get married? “I can’t let that one out. Or I’ll get killed by my fiancée.”

While John Mayer headed to a self defense class early in the morning (likely to protect his girl from all those pesky paps), a glowing Jennifer was seen exiting the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. She later headed to Naga Antiques furniture store to pick up some goodies.

Next up for Hollywood’s hottest new couple? Jen will soon go back to work on the film Marley & Me at its next filming location while John is set to continue touring with concerts scheduled throughout the late spring and summer. But something tells us these two inseperable lovebirds will schedule many more sexy rendezvous along the way (and we’ll be there to document every second of it!!)

Kim and Khloe Kardashian hit Mr. Chow in West Hollywood last night.

Although they arrived separately, the raven-haired sisters left together hand-in-hand.

It’s odd to see them being so chummy with one another considering on their hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians they are usually at odds.

Kim looked flawless as usual in her simple black tank and skinny jeans, but Khloe struck out in her all white ensemble with momish-looking slacks and platform white sandals.

No one ever said it was easy being Kim’s sister.
