High School Musical cutie Vanessa Hudgens was in South Florida on Friday to promote the program Best Buddies.

Best Buddies is a program that provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

The 18-year-old temptress shadowed an office assistant who works at Ocean Drive magazine.

Vanessa told the press: “This is an amazing program, you know. My manager is the person who actually developed it, and I found out about it and I thought it was an amazing organization. It’s really neat to reach out to people who are, like, fans, too. Just to be able to be a part of their lives is really neat.”

When asked about High School Musical 3, she said she can’t wait to do another one. She said they are currently working with the stars’ schedules to begin production.

Pictures of Jennifer Love Hewitt on vacation in a bikini have been floating around all week. Many showed her looking cute and happy in the surf with her new fiance. But some, from the backside, were not flattering.

Now, Love has posted a MySpace missive about it. The actress says she’s “annoyed” that pictures of her vacation were online and says, “…I love my body.”

“I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their bodies. A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful.”

She adds, “To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini – put it on and stay strong.”

As the High School Music cutie exited, over-zealous security guards tried to cover her from the waiting paparazzi by holding their hands inches from her face. Vanessa was heard telling them it was not necessary, especially as their efforts made her walk straight past her car.

While most of her other contemporaries choose to save the coveted crotch shot for limo exits, R&B has-been Ashanti saved her money shot for a small crowd of onlookers during a performance at the Nokia Theater in New York City on Thursday night.

In a pact with MTV, Britney is running a new contest called “Britney Spears Wants a Piece of You.”

On Monday, MTV will make footage available from its archives – interviews, red-carpet appearances and performances – for Brit fans to remix into a video of 3:34 or shorter.

Submissions are due December 14. MTV, Jive Records and Britney will determine a winner, which will air on TRL on December 20.
