Decked out in one of her trademark taffeta gowns, country princess Carrie Underwood offers onlookers a glimpse of her new video for her latest single, ‘So Small’, offer her upcoming sophomore LP, ‘Carnival Ride.’

Photogs snapped the ‘American Idol’ alum enjoying a very un-Hollywood snack consisting of a Special K bar and a 1 litre Diet Coke (empty calories anyone?) during a break from filming in the historic centre of downtown Los Angeles on Thursday.

‘So Small’, the first song in which Carrie shares a writing credit, debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs earlier this month, making the highest chart entry by a solo country female artist in Nielsen BDS history.

After spending much of the week playing the role of super dad to his four kids, hat enthusiast Brad Pitt makes a casual return to work on Thursday on the New York City city set of yet another upcoming flick, ‘Burn After Reading.’

In this Coen brothers film, the 43-year-old actor plays a personal trainer who comes across a former CIA agent’s (John Malkovich) memoirs and then attempts to blackmail him. Brad’s pal ‘Ocean’s 13′ costar George Clooney plays an assassin hired by the CIA to take care of the situation.

Sounds juicy!

A Spencer & Heidi-free Lauren Conrad is spotted enjoying a relaxing day at the beach in Malibu on Wednesday with pals Audrina Partridge and Whitney Port.

Frolicking in their barely there bikinis, the MTV darlings were snapped engaging in some boogie boarding between tanning sessions and dips in the water.

Among the testosterone-fueled boys on hand was fame seeker Brody Jenner. (Surprise, surprise.) He showed up to absorb some media spotlight before heading over to Les Deux to freely blow his daddy’s cash.

Evidently, the only thing easier than being rich and famous is being rich and spoiled.

The Versace gown that Britney Spears was supposed to wear for her now historically disastrous OK! magazine photo-shoot in July has found its way on to eBay.

As you may recall, Brit walked out on the shoot before she got the chance to try the outfit on after behaving “erratically.” The embattled babymama reportedly took a handful of designer clothes and accessories (that weren’t covered in mustard) with her.

Proceeds will go to Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

The Heroes World Tour continues full force as Hollywood hunny Hayden Panettiere joins her ‘Heroes’ costars Milo Ventimigilia, Jack Coleman and Adrian Pasdar at a photocall in London on Thursday.

Decked out in a belted red dress and Christian Louboutin slingbacks, the 18-year-old up-and-comer was all smiles despite a hectic week that’s taken her to three different countries (Munich, Paris, London) this week.

Party purveyor Paris Hilton did not seem too happy when photogs snapped the newly cropped heiress leaving Mr Chow in Beverly Hills last night after celebrating pal and creator of the Firecrotch Brandon Davis’ 28th birthday. For that matter, neither did the birthday boy himself.

Rocking a pastel coloured dress and white pumps (ick!), the former felon kept things somber as she departed from the celeb-ridden eatery after dining with a handful of fellow trust fund babies.

The normally very vocal Brandon, meanwhile, stayed mum when the pesky paparazzi probed him on that mysterious black eye.

The fauxest of faux tans? Check. Cheeks sucked in? Check. Lips pouted out? Check.

The handsome Jude Law joins Hollywood heavyweights Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh at the arrival to Italy’s glamorous Venice Film Festival.
