I think Kate’s really done a number on him. I don’t say that from looking at these pictures (although he looks a little lonely and wan in that top pic), but just in general. She seems like a really flighty person, and that was probably giving him angst.
He looks very sad and lost (in a spiritual sense) to me.
I feel bad for him - all alone and drinking in dives.

I think he was on his way to meet someone. He had a cell phone in his hand. He went into the bar to get away from you guys. He doesn’t look sad to me, only a look of trying to figure out how to get where he was going without being followed. He doesn’t like the paps. He is dressed beautifully, and it doesn’t look like any of the drink is gone. Did you guys stay and watch him drink all night? I can’t wait to see his new movie, NATM2. Anyone can analyze a picture to mean how they want it. Hope Owen is well and happy!!
Owenfan - Talk about overanalyzing a picture to match your own beliefs! He was meeting someone, he only went into the bar to get away from the paps, he’s thinking about how not to be followed, he has a drink in front of him but he’s not drinking. WTF?
Meanwhile, Owen looks like he doesn’t even know where he is (and not for the first time recently either).
I swear, if there was a video of this guy with a coke straw up his nose and lines in front of him, people would have a million rationalizations to explain that as well.

I sympathize with KATE. She loves him but you can only do so much when a person won’t help themselves.
I mean, with all the resources in the world available to him, he continues to deny his disease. He doesn’t care about himself and he certainly doesn’t care about his fans.
I agree with LA Lady. Kate hudson keeps taking him back. THe only way she would do this i’m sure is if he promised to stop cheating. then he breasks his promise everytime.that’s what some men are like but some ladies on these comments will defend these creeps to the end. I think he can’t handle relationships, uses drugs then cheats. this is a pattern of addicts.

I love how people on the internet use these obscure names and pretend they know what’s going on with a celebrity just because of a couple pictures that are taken. You DO NOT know these celebrities so please get over your big ego in how you think you know them personally and what is going on. This is all just a game for you, because you don’t see celebrities as human, just “play things” for you to criticize and attack. Public figure or no, that’s just ridiculous. Just as those who are fans support Owen those who have nothing better to do but attack a celebrity will ALWAYS see something negative with every picture that’s taken of Owen. Here’s an idea, have someone take about 50 pictures of you for a week at various times and post them on the internet so we can call you “drugged up”, “lost and alone”, “fat”, “ugly”, and how you must be a drug addict because you have “messed up hair and didn’t shave”. I know some of you have big egos and probably assume you NEVER take a bad picture that might be perceived as another way, but I hate to break it to you, it would happen.
Some of you refuse to get over what happened to Owen simply because he won’t talk about what happened. Yet at the same time you are probably the same people that want someone like Lindsay Lohan and her famewhore family to shut up about her private life. Regardless if Owen laid out his medical records to appease you it still wouldn’t satisfy many of you on what happened to him. You would still refuse to see anything but what YOU want and the perceived reality you think is true.
And answer this for me, drug possession is against the law. If Owen’s suicide attempt involved illegal drugs he would have been ARRESTED and CHARGED with drug possession. After all that’s what happens when you OD with drugs, you get arrested. Famous celebrity or not he wouldn’t have been given special treatment. Police, Ambulance and Fire were all on the scene. He wasn’t arrested so that tells me there is far more that went on then the ridiculous claims the tabloids spout out. Even Kate herself said that the “tabloids got it all wrong”.
Oh and here’s something else to think about. A person having a suicide attempt on record would more than likely be enough for the legal system to have a person’s rights removed for mental incompetence. Owen is 40 he no doubt has a living will and an Executor of the will, so that person could no doubt sign over his rights to control is well being. I have no doubt if Owen was a drug addict that his family would have done whatever was necessary legally to make sure he was placed in rehab regardless if he liked it or not. That never happened, so I happen to bellieve his family knew what was best for him and what was best on his recovery. Just because they didn’t get the public’s approval for their actions or speak to the entertainment shows every week to track their every move on his recovery doesn’t mean nothing wasn’t done privately. Owen has money and can afford to have all of this done very privately without the public’s knowledge.
Many of you need to realize their are other possibilities out there of what happened instead of being so closed minded on believing JUST what the tabloids tell you. No wonder celebrities think they can tell the public who to vote for President, when many of you will believe whatever is told to you by the gossip mill. And the tabloids stories change from week to week. Seriously, do you suffer from short term memory loss that you don’t recall from week to week on what’s said?
Owen will get over Kate and move on.
He probably just felt like getting a drink.

For all your apologist Owen-devotion, he would never give you a second glance (unless you were enticing him with a bag of coke and/or H).
His fans mean NOTHING to him but do just keep right on rationalizing for him. It just makes it that much easier for him to wallow in his disease. That’s not being a fan; that’s being a fool.
