The 22-year-old starlet says she was blindsided by the breakup earlier this month, saying it “Came out of nowhere. I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn’t seen her in, like, a week. She, like, disappeared,” she revealed.
But LiLo insists cheating was not a contributing factor in the end of their relationship. “I don’t believe in cheating on someone,” she told Ellen.
Though totally brokenhearted, Lindsay says that maybe this time apart will best for her and her career.
“You know when people are together so much it gets really difficult and you forget who you are because you’re more concerned about being with the other person,” Linds said. “I think it’s been really good for me. I thought it would be so much harder and it hasn’t been. My sister’s been here with me.”
Nonetheless, always the optimist, Lindsay is seemingly hanging on to the hope that she and Sam can work things out.
“I really care about Samantha and we’ll see what happens,” she said. “Maybe when we’re fully in the right place. And I love her.”

She’s in denial. If Sam disappeared on her without the courtesy of a good-bye, and then had her thrown out of her bash, Lindsey should - if she has any self-esteem - move on and never look back.
Instead, she’s hoping to get back with Sam? I don’t think this is going anywhere good.
Lindsey needs to get away someplace and get some psych counseling. Or meet Drew Barrymore for pointers on how to emerge from a self-created mess.
sam ronson’s thrill was to conquer a straight girl and she used lindsey. miss lohan should never get back her. just disapearing is the most inconsiderate and cowardly break up. but when lindsey gets a modeling contract, a record deal, and a hit movie sam will be back. linsey has poor self esteem with men and women, she chose an arrogant woman who is just like her arrogant ex boyfriends.

I watched her this a.m. and I thought she acted high. But more importantly WTF is up with the anorexia?!?! She looks a damn mess. She is literally back to where she was when she was hanging with Nicole Richie. Did anyone hear her say she’s “been working every day”? HA!
