Happy Earth Day!
In honour of the day, Michelle Obama was up bright and early this morning (April 22) to plant a tree. And show off those toned arms, of course!
The event was organized by the Student Conservation Association, an Americorp organization.
America’s Frst Lady helped out volunteers yesterday at Kenilworth Aquatic Garden in Washington.
As for hubby’s whereabouts? President Barack Obama will mark Earth Day with a speech at an Iowa wind tower plant that will seek to assure Americans that his energy plan will create jobs and help bolster the nation’s security.

bush was the biggest liberal since jimmy carter to live in the white house…until the marxist came along. even the war in iraq is a liberal move. true conservatives are isolationists.
fact is, bush didn’t cause the banking crisis, in fact he tried to prevent it as early as 2002, and he didn’t have 3 of his top financial advisors as former FNMA CEOS who made 90mil in 2 years…nor did he sue citibank on behalf of acorn to force them to write junk loans. and none of you can name one single program that was eliminated because of the war in iraq…instead bush spent like a drunken sailor/liberal.
interestingly, all of you who constantly berated bush have not voiced a single complaint about obama and his willfull destruction of american systems.
Michelle looks great as always! Love her top! It’s awesome to see such a proactive First Lady getting out there and being part of things. I think she’s really a role model for young girls.
