Check out a newly released sneak peek at Tom Cruise’s upcoming World War II flick, ‘Valkyrie.’
The scene captures real life German hero Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg (Cruise) as he and his conspirators comb over their plan to kill Adolf Hitler and thereby end the Second World War. The ill-fated attempt remove the evil dictator in 1944 resulted in the plotters’ death except for von Stauffenberg who miaculously survived.
Tom’s fellow plotters are played by Christian Berkel, Kenneth Branagh, Kevin McNally, Bill Nighy, David Schofield, and Terence Stamp.

will not see. Or at least I will wait for HBO. Tom Cruise gets no $$$ directly from me.

Um no, he was also excuted the very next day. Google it.
PSL I am exactly the same. I will not shell out a cent for any movie with cruise (or travolta). f them.
Wow what ever happened to religious freedom in the US of A. Please people it;s not that serious! One should at least hear the reviews before you condemn him (and the movie).
If it gets good reviews then I will see it. I believe everyone should get a second change - .
chance — sorry
I don’t really see what is sooo bad about Tom. I mean he’s made some mistakes before..I really don’t think he had any right to speak out about post-partum depression, but overall he seems like an ok guy. Even if you don’t like him as a person why can’t you like his work. Two separate things really. I’ll be interested to see this movie.
I understand your point Godiva (and I’m not from the US so you don’t have to worry about that!) but as much as I don’t think people should be judged for their religion I DO NOT think their religion should impinge on others lives. I am studying science and psychology and it irritates me when these idiots come out with their crazy talk that some people (because its coming from celebs) take seriously. Its irresponsible, offensive and damaging. I also don’t believe it is a matter of second chances (which I highly believe in) because its an unchanging viewpoint of theirs.
I understand its slightly irrational from my side- i’m sure there are worse people out there but i severely dislike these two arrogant slimeballs.
I don’t care about his religious BELIEFS- to each his own. But when he came out spewing all that crap against anti-depressants, I vowed to never support him again. Yes, he “apologized”, but he’s full of shit where that’s concerned- that was damage control.
I will watch a movie of his again, but I will never PAY to see one.
Scientology is officially recognised as a cult in Europe and their new European headquarters in brussels have been closed down last week and the governtment is suing them for harassing people and also because any form of cult groups are not allowed to practice in Belgium.
Wonder what Tommy has got to say abt that. Im Sorry but its not abt his fucking religion but its the way he openly propagates his beliefs and acts like he’s soo darn smart jus because he’s a scientologist that really irks me. IF he disagrees with pyschiatric drug use, then nobody is gonna lynch him for his opinions, but he shd keep his mouth shut and give opinions where needed or asked for.
As for his movie, i will tape it when it plays on cable and watch it just like any other movies i watch.
It looks very powerful!
Wow, look how fierce their gazes are. Tyra would be proud, haha!!
I’ll probably wait until the DVD comes out.
I’m seeing this definitely.
I know I hate Tom’s crazy arse but I would never judge a film until I’ve heard reviews or seen the promo and this is an intelligent interesting story, if its a bad promo and the critics slam it then fine, I won’t watch but not just because Tom is a twat. But I also understand the other side where his constant raving and ranting about how Scientology is completely and utterly perfect to anyone who is forced to listen without considering others opinions or beliefs…well, that can be a little irritating and ignorant.
Maximum Big Surprise I love your post!
Bill Nighy. I’d watch it for him.
Im watching this movie. So cant wait.
I think Tom is the coolest and nicest guys in Hollywood. It shows how he is with his family, his fans and the media even to some that are mocking him. Showing kindness to some that condemn you now that is classy.
All amazing actors in this film and I hope Tom and the movie gets some Oscar buzz. Winning the Oscars even better.
I’ll be standing in line for this film. Boycott Travolta alright when Hairspray and Wildhogs are such hits for him.
my sadness is that we have to wait till next year to see this movie.
GO TOM…….
A must watch for me and crossing my fingers that Tom finally wins the Oscar award.
He’s among the many brilliant actors robbed of the Academy.
Lining up for this movie. Love Tom and Katie and Suri.
