Rosie O’Donnell has a strange way of paying compliments.
The often controversial media personality compared “it” girl Susan Boyle to Shrek on Saturday at a Florida showcase of her artwork.
“That moment is what every artist tries to capture,” she told People. “Shrek come to life, directing energy towards her soul. This was so rare … something authentic in a world that is usually manufactured. It was a perfect moment which will never happen again.”
Never? Perhasps it already did. Check out Shaheen Jafargholi during his appearance on Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday. The 12-year-old cutie initially bombed with judge Simon Cowell, who made him stop singing his Amy Winehouse version of Valerie after just one verse, but after launching into Who’s Loving You (a song made famous by a young Michael Jackson with the Jackson Five), the audience went hysterical.
“This is how one song can change your life,” Simon said afterward. “And this may be the start of something special for you young man.”

I think Rosie bares a more similar resembelance to Shrek than this lady. What bitch!
yeah how can Rosie talk about Shrek? Maybe Rosie is jealous because this lady is getting attention and has real talent. Rosie should just hang it up, she’s done.
I don’t get why she had to say Shrek, she could have easily just sais don’t judge the book by it’s cover or something like that.
Personally I don’t see the hype over this woman, but yes she is talented.
in watching the video, i was appalled at the english people’s crass judgmentalism, materialism, and shallow focus on appearances.
i thought they were sophisticated over there.
It looked staged when Simon stopped the kid and asked him to sing something else. He obviously knew about the second song.
