OWEN WILSON RESURFACES

owen-reutrns2.jpg

After being locked up on the celebrity wing at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles all week, Owen Wilson was finally driven home yesterday.

The 38-year-old funnyman, who reportedly OD’ed and slashed his wrists last week, appeared gaunt and dishevelled as he returned to his Santa Monica estate.

Owen was expected to appear at the Venice Film Festival next week for the world premiere of his latest comedy ‘The Darjeeling Limited.’

Instead, he will be resting at home on round-the-clock suicide watch getting the attention and care he needs.

All the best, Owen!

OK I realize that these photogs need to earn a living - but people, this is going too far. I feel uncomfortable looking at these photos, and i’m not even a fan.
    Talk about beyond the pail.

The premiere of the new film by Wes Anderson in Venice is today, not next week.

^I was going to post just that. A- I don’t want to tell you how to do your job… but it feels wrong to see people trying to profit off of someone’s very obvious pain.

SUICIDE IS A PERMENANT SOLUTION TO A TEMPORARY PROBLEM AND A MASSIVE SIGN OF NOTHING BUT PURE SELFISHNESS.

Carlotta I completely agree. I feel ashamed that I kinda want to see him, but at the same time I don’t want. and I sure as hell don’t want anyone to break into his yard with telescopic lenses to show him to me. It’s a bit too far.

He is no Paris, and he is well loved, so I definetly think he deserves some respect and privacy.

I agree about taking his picture, let’s leave this poor guy alone and let him get the help he needs. There’s lots of other celebs to point at, anyone seen Britney, Paris or Lindsay?

I really feel ashamed about this picture, I’m not saying because he’s famous he deserves more privacy than others, but it is a sad thing to see this, RIGHT after everything htats happened.

Have a look here, looks like we’re not the only ones thinking that the photographers/agency went way too far.

She - until you’ve been so clinically depressed that you feel that that is your only option, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

I agree- give him privacy. It will be harder to heal when being watched all the time.
    Get Well, Owen.

The poor guy, he’s obviously had a really rough time and it only makes it worse for every little step he’s taking to be caught on camera. I think in these sort of sensitive situations the paps REALLY need to back off a little bit. It could really affect his life being stalked like this. He needs to be left alone for a little while in order to get better and be his old, happy self again! :-)

That poor guy, that’s someone I wouldn’t think would do that. I hope he gets better soon and gets back to work so he can make us laugh again!
