Once upon a time, Lil Kim was a hardcore rapper who would spit obscene rhymes while gyrating around on stage. Nowadays, the pint-sized star spends her days waltzing on Dancing with the Stars and her nights performing at local malls.

Joining the Derek Hough and Mark Ballas Band, the pint-sized rapstress otherwise known as Queen Bee performed at the Grove in Hollywood last night (April 14) following her appearance on the hit ABC reality show. The event was hosted by Tom Bergeron and Dancing alum Lance Bass.

Meanwhile, it appears that Marc Jacobs will always be Kim’s favourite fashion designer because he wrote her letters every week while she was behind bars for perjury.

She says, “He’s one of my best friends and was actually a huge supporter when I was in prison. He wrote me every week! I decided to buy a coloring book — I’m a huge Bratz fan — and I painted the Bratz and made them all wear Marc Jacobs, and sent it to him. He blew it up and framed it, and now it’s hanging in his house. So Marc Jacobs is the best.”
