The actress is busy in rehearsals as she prepares to join cohosts Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna for the upcoming National Memorial Day Concert in Washington.
General Colin Powell, actor Laurence Fishburne and former American Idol contestant Katharine McPhee were already listed as part of the star-studded lineup and now we’ve got word of more celebs expected to attend the 20th anniversary broadcast of the concert. Natasha Bedingfield, Barry Manilow and Vanessa Williams are scheduled to perform at the annual fireworks festivities proceeding the event.
No word whether Tom and Suri Cruise will be joining Katie for the Memorial Day event, which will air live May 24 on PBS.

Actually, I was thinking of the exact opposite. Effort cannot compensate for talent. Perhaps she should just acknowledge that pretending to be Tom Cruise’s love is the role of her lifetime…
why do you think she’s not talented? in what movie you didn’t like her performance? i’ve seen a few and she was always good. my fav are Pieces of april and Thank you for smoking.
plus let’s not forget her performance on broadway . theater is a lot harder than film and she received good reviews. i think people just like to hate her cos she’s tom wife.
