‘THE OFFICE’ KNOCK-OFF SHOW LACKS IMAGINATION (DUH!)

amy-poehler-sitcom

If you’re holding your breath for Thursday’s premiere of Amy Poehler’s new sitcom, Parks and Recreation, don’t bother.

Variety reviewed the NBC show and let’s just say it’s not a raving.

One snippet: “Parks seems inherently limited by a lack of what its protagonist has in abundance — imagination.”

Ouch.

Pretty obvious that this show was going to try and rip-off the office and 30 Rock. But I will check it out because Amy Poehler is hilarious!

Seriously, duh. This always looked stupid, but for some reason all these execs think Poehler is comedy gold instead of mostly annoying.
