After the untimely death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in 1994, he apparently left his $500 million fortune behind for the benefit of his mother, two sisters, a brother, his wife and their young daughter, Frances Bean. But lawyers for Courtney claim a large part of the estate is missing.
Miss Love’s lawyer, Rhonda J. Holmes tells the New York Post: “Many of those [involved with] the estate’s coffers mismanaged, stole and outright looted it shamelessly. I have never seen such greed and moral turpitude. This case is going to make Bernard Madoff look warm and fuzzy…..We will be filing civil cases . . . within the next 30 days. There are many, many millions missing. We’ve only been able to track down $30 million, but there is more. And then there is the real estate.”

Juvedérm and/or restylane? Geezz, these new fillers are scary stuff… The “old fashion” surgeries, if done right, gave a much better results.
Kurt Cobain had $500? Seriously? Isn’t that Madonna kind of money and Nirvana were only around for maybe 5, 6 years. I don’t really believe they made THAT much money, no matter how famous at the time. o_O

I have a hard time believing he left an estate of $500 million in 1994. I’ve read a couple other things that mention she thinks up to $500 million was taken over a period of years… I suppose that is possible. It also possible that while the estate might have been worth much more than it was at the time of his death on paper, but the investments turned sour and the increase in worth was only temporary.
I’m sorry but $500 million is Jay-Z/Mariah/Madonna kind of money. There’s no way grunge paid that well during it’s brief run.
Oh yeah, enough with the plastic surgery already.
She probably spent it on drugs, diet supplements and bad plastic surgery.
