I’ve always been very surprised and impressed by how level-headed and intelligent Ivanka has sounded in interviews. Why she is choosing to sexualize herself to this extent for the public is beyond me. She’s always said that she’s interested in business and real estate development - how is a dominatrix costume furthering her career??? If she’s now interested in going the Paris route - then she’s doing great!
I agree Lucy- why is she doing this? She always puts Paris down, yet this is the same shit we expect from the Whore-ess……..hypocrite.

I think what the other commenters mean is that she shouldn’t go around criticizing Paris if she’s going to be posing in magazines and seeking publicity herself. I too think that this cheapens her image but at least she didn’t choose a mag like stuff or maxim.
She looks very hot here!! I love the whole dominatrix look hehe. I’m kind of disappointed that Ivanka has stepped onto the whole sex bandwagon though…I mean she’s always stressed how smart she is and how she’s so into business, and she does seem like a smart girl. I like the fact that she wasn’t in your face sexy and she relied more on her brain….guess I was wrong. Now she’s just like everyone else. Not posing on these magazines was what made her unique.

LOL–isn’t she supposed to be a businesswoman? I realize that daddy bought her some boobs, but I would have a very difficult time taking her seriously as my boss if I saw this.

This has nothing to do with prudishness. The New York business community is still very conservative–yes, even in this city. Dressing like a dominatrix does not get you respect. Ivanka has worked very hard, did well at a very respected business school…then turns around and acts like Paris? Why?? Why undermine all that work? No matter what anyone of a more ‘enlightened’ point of view considers this dominatrix pose, it will not help her professionally–unless she wants to go Hollywood.
