After over a decade of not flying, Whoopi Goldberg flew to London over the weekend and was seen signing autographs for fans at the GMTV studios near the London Palladium theatre today (April 6) where a production of Sister Act is currently showing.
The 53-year-old host of The View underwent a special course on the show courtesy of Virgin Atlantic boss Sir Richard Branson. The therapy included putting her in a flight simulator to help conquer her fears.
Looks like it worked!

Who could blame her for being affraid to fly. Way too many ariline crashes lately. I know I get scared everytime… and I never used to.
I’m the same!! I used to love to fly, now I freak out. Such a real and intense and crappy fear to have…I wish I didn’t have it.
I’m a bit iffy when I’m flying and I NEVER sleep but having my family living in Australia and New York and I’m here in LA I have kind of had to get used to it. I’m glad she’s conquered her fear!
