SHERYL GOES MOUNTAIN SAVING

Out for some quality mother and son bonding time, Sheryl Crow was seen playing with her 23-month-old son Wyatt while eating at Pastis in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan yesterday (April 5).

With a son by her side, Sheryl has taken a step back from her rocking career but motherhood has certainly not stopped the 47-year-old musician from having a voice.

Joining Emmylou Harris, Kathy Mattea and Big Kenny Alphin, Sheryl is launching “Music Saves Mountains,” a campaign to end mountaintop removal coal mining in Appalachia.

Says Miss Crow: “This particularly bad form of mining literally uses dynamite to blow the tops off of mountains. They call this mountain top removal and it is destroying some of the most beautiful places in the United States, including here in Tennessee where I live. I think it is a crime against nature that this practice is allowed, period.”

Where is Wyatt’s real mother? Is his biological mother still alive?

Hey thanks very much for posting this. It’s such an important cause and I’m so grateful more people are coming together to end this perverted environmental abuse. Yet another fucking one.
