Carrie Underwood couldn’t hide her glee as she became the first female act to win Entertainer of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night (April 5) since the Dixie Chicks did it back in 2000.
The blonde country bumpkin’s win broke Kenny Chesney’s four-year streak of winning the award and she became only the seventh female act to win it, putting her alongside Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Barbara Mandrell, Reba McEntire, Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks.
Congrats Carrie!

I really like her! She is a decent singer and feels like a real country singer. Congrats!
love her also!
I like her as well. I’m not really a country music fan but her songs are catchy and something a bit different. She is gorgeous as well, there’s no denying that! Both her dresses here are beautiful!
Picture one: You know she’s going:
“HA HA HA HA - Eat This Jessica!!, and by the way how’s that singin’ career going? Oh Yeah! are you engaged to your football player yet? No?? Oh boo hoo HA HA HA!!”
