The Slim Shady rapper was on hand to induct Run-DMC members Joseph “DJ Run” Simmons, Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels and the late Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell into the 24-year-old elite club.
Rocking the trio’s signature black fedora and black leather jacket, Em said on stage: “They broke away from the pack by being the pack. They were the baddest of the bad and the coolest of the cool. Run-DMC changed my life.”
He added: “There’s three of them and if you grew up with hip hop like I did, they were the Beatles.”
The 24th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony aired live on Fuse TV.

I won’t stop rockin’ till I retire!
It’s never been my style of music really but Eminem is an awesome rapper and a lot of his raps are very clever so I have respect for that. It’s funny you never see anything of him anymore, there were all those rumors that he had got super fat wasn’t there? I think honestly he had to get out of the whole rap world before he got popped off. He was protecting himself and his daughter no doubt. He probably got in a little too deep so it was a wise move for him to just get out of it.
The Greatest!! Much respect to RUN DMC
