Troubled couple Amy Winehouse and hubby Blake Fielder-Civil continue their Caribbean holiday on Wednesday with a romantic boat ride around St Lucia.
The British soulstress, who yesterday scrapped plans to perform on September’s MTV Video Music Awards due to drug and health issues, departed on the luxury liner early morning and returned to her hotel hours later.
In other news on the ‘Back To Black’ diva, British publication The Daily Star newspaper says Amy is trying for a baby.
The tabloid says: “She really believes having a baby would help them put all their troubles behind them.â€
Good luck to Amy in her latest endeavour. But just remember — holding a baby in one hand and a syringe in the other ain’t as easy as it looks!

No No No Amy.. getting HELP will help put your troubles behind you.. Whether you are addicted or not.. both of you are druggies. W/out help you will both continue to support eachother’s habitual behavior and will end up with a very very sick baby if you can even pro-create. PLEASE.. for the Love of God.. NOOOOOOO!
PS: Why would you want to bring a child in this world if YOU don’t even think you will live very long.. again, please rethink this
Yeah and a baby with brain damage due to all her drug taking would REALLY bring them closer.. Geez! What a ninny. I can’t believe she would be that stupid….could she?
Um, why does anyone really give a shit about Amy? She’s obviously totally fucked up, and determined to stay that way, despite–yes, here it comes–ALL THE FUCKING MONEY, RESOURCES, AND CARING FAMILY SHE HAS. If the people closest too her can’t convince her to change her tune, no one can.
I am so sick of being expected to feel sorry for people who get messed up on drugs and lose control of their lives. No one feels sorry for smokers these days–after all, they knew what they were getting in to, right?
So why feel sorry for druggies like Amy (and Owen)? Even kindergarteners are educated as to how dangerous they are. Obviously, they made the choice to do the shit, so there’s no reason for all this outpouring of sympathy.
Fuck it, people have got to take personal responsiblity. The famous and wealthy included. I don’t care how fucking hard your life is, or whether you had a shitty childhood, or whether you’re caught up in the machine of “celebrity.” At the end of the day, YOU made those choice. Now fucking sack up, and deal with it!
Why do people think that kids solves marriage problems?? It doesn’t! Actually, it makes it worse if the relationship is not stable to begin with. Raising kids is hard, it’s not just changing diapers and dressing them up. It’s really quite pathetic how people think it’s as simple as that.
It’s going to be a bad deal if this talented performer can’t get her act cleaned up. Needless to say–having a kid is about the last thing she needs right now–let’s hope that idea passes quickly…she needs to be locked in a small room for about a year (just kidding).
Just askin’, I ask this sincerely and with no malice whatsoever… have you ever known anyone who had a drug problem? ever ask them questions or try to find out why they would do that? I know what you’re saying, but I just feel that you must not have a lot of experience with “a hard life or shitty childhood”, depression or possibly other mental illness.. to say the things you say. Things are not black and white and while some people, you may think, have gone through terrible things and don’t do drugs.. there are a hundred and one other “addictions” and issues people can have in their place… it’s a matter of what you are exposed to first and if that thing “covers up” the pain… Yes, some people are strong enough to overcome it, I was, but not without some issues of my own. I certainly do not feel sorry for Lilo or Amy.. they need to get help and be serious about it… I wish that for them both.. but if they got help and were trying to change their life, I wouldn’t discount the fact that everyone can change their lives and just b/c they resorted to drugs, alcohol, food or and ED in the past, doesn’t mean they can not overcome that and live a productive life.
But since when did these people actually resort to getting proper help and take rehabilitation seriously??They get out of rehab to go shopping,to the tanning booth etc like as if its a holiday resort.THey dont deserve any ounce of symphathy.
Its true that everybody has got different thresholds when it comes to hard lives and bad childhoods and different people react differently. But i think what sets these celebrities apart is their super-inflated egos and narcisistic ideas of themselves. They think that they are above the law, above everything else.
Look at Paris Hilton and how jail ”transformed” her into a ”public spirited, ambassador for charities and important issues”. Hence, i think that its different between the lives of normal people and some of these celebrities who live in gaga land and believe that they have everything going for them in their lives.
herpes, you just keep right on making excuses for people. You’re certainly not alone in this–most people would rather blame their troubles on the big, bad world and the unfair hand they got dealt in life, rather than take a hard look at themselves and make the changes they need to. People would rather coddle themselves and delude themselves, and tell everyone that life is JUST SO HARD and god, people JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND.
Because after all, everyone is a victim these days. No one is responsible for their own lives, and their own fuckups. Everyone’s got some sort of issue or addiction that they use as an excuse.
God I hope she is not trying to get pregnant. I love her but she is starting to ruin it with her stupidity.
God Forbid she has a baby, before she straightens herself out.
Just askin’ u missed my point completely.. I do not feel sorry for anyone who uses bad life experiences as a crutch.. I made it through and they can too.. you just seem to me to be someone who has not dealt with “hard life” to make such comments. And certainly Lilo and Amy have not been through the type of things I am referring to when discussing F’ed up childhoods.. but abuse and neglect can really mess someone up and depending on what resources are available to them and what they see, most will resort to something to “cover up” the pain. That is psychology.. no way around that. No, everyone should not play the victim, I never did and I certainly took the reigns of my life in my own hands. But going through that and educating myself regarding psychology and socialogy has helped me to see things from many perspectives.. These people DO need to take responsibility for their actions.. they NEED help whether it’s for a physical addiction or to work out whatever issues they have that keeps them emotionally attached to their drug or habit of choice. If they do that, I will support their recovery.. if not, than they will probably die or end up in prison continuing down this path.
I didn’t miss your point, herpes. I’m certain you don’t have one.
I am merely stating that I don’t feel sorry for wealthy/famous folks who, for whatever reasons, have messed up lives and continue to ride that runaway train to self-destruction, despite all the resources they have available to help them.
In response to my statement, you try to counter with your personal experience with depression, and endless inane ramblings and gobbledygook.
Let’s just agree to disagree, shall we? I’ll continue to posit that everyone is responsible for the choices that they make in life. And you, my dear, will continue to ooze misguided sympathy through every pore. Now that I know it’s inevitable, I’ll just tiptoe around the goo, much like one tiptoes around dog droppings.
Kisses to you, herpes. And remember, everyone’s a victim!
Ugh, do not let these people breed
I do not insult you, do not insult me. You are correct, we have very different ideas about this.. if u read my post, I basically agree with you as far as these celebs taking responsibilty for themselves.. obviously, you do miss the point. And if insulting me is your only way of “making your point” then you not only sound like a closed minded individual, you sound uneducated. Maybe I should start feeling sorry for you.. I’ll do that next week.. this weekend is Labor Day weekend and I think feeling sorry for you would be too much work.
Wow, just askin’, you didn’t even consider herpe’s posts. I agree with you: everyone is responsible for the coices they make in life…but maybe you should read back and see what herpes was trying to get through to you.
I have to disagree with the majority here…I do feel sorry for her. Knowing that her mother was emotionally abusive and knowing that drugs become physically addictive at a certain point, even if she’s chosen to not do drugs (and change her life around, have a baby), she may be physically unable to do so. There are many people out there that know they have problems and want to change, and think they are strong enough to change their behaviors/physiological processes without help. I truly think this is the stage that she’s in, and that is why I feel sorry for her. imo, she doesn’t want to go to rehab because she thinks it will show that she’s weak, that she can’t change herself on her own. I think that’s why many people don’t get the help they need.
If you’re reading this Amy, I love you.
A baby? You’ve got to be kidding me! SURELY if she had a baby child services would remove it from her! Britney looks like a saint compared to Amy. Blake and Amy bash each other up and are known druggies…there is no way they could care for a baby properly. I’m really over her now. Yes, I feel sorry for the fact that she has an addiction but she has been given loads of opportunities to get through it and go to rehab and she just doesn’t seem to want to help herself.
Britney looks like a saint compared to Amy????Pls Stephi..we know u are a big fan of Shitney and u are excited abt the release of her horrific album and all but putting Britney and Saint in the same sentence is totally far off. They are all completely fucked up!!End of story!
I have personal experience when it comes to a family member and drugs. My brother was a heroin addict from the time he was 17 up until beginning of this year. He turned 30 this year!! There was countless interventions on my families part and he did go to rehab many times. This year was the fifth and final time that worked and I am proud to say that he has been clean for almost 10 months!!
My point here is….AMY HAS TO WANT TO HELP HERSELF!!!
No one can make her go, you can give her every excuse in the book, but she has to want it. We never gave up on my brother, we were always there for him and told him what his options where. Here is the rehab address and # if you ever want to call…yadda yadda. Its not to say his addiction didn’t take a toll on the rest of the family cuz it did. I have a family of my own and it gets exhausting listening to the lies and dealing with the stealing (to pawn for drugs). We didn’t give up and I hope Amy’s family doesn’t give up on her either.
And for god’s sake, a child is not the answer to a sober life!!! Pls get help before you add to your family!!! pls pls pls.
I agree with stephi!!!! If Amy had a baby then Britney would look like a damn saint and Amy would have her baby taken away in a second. Britney doesn’t smoke crack and inject junk into her veins. I hope she does have a baby so she can see what a fool she is and the mabe people will shut there traps about Britney. Britney makes like most mother’s do! Frankly I dont even think that most of the mistakes she has made are that big of deal. They really aren’t. So AMY WINEHOUSE…if your truly want to have a baby and screw it’s life up along with your own & Owen’s then giver. I cant wait to see what kind of a mother you’ll be and hope that for the baby’s sake it doesn’t end up to be a crack baby. I guarentee it’ll be taken away in a matter of a seconds. How is a baby going to change the fact that your addicted to drugs?! Getting pregnant doesn’t stop the crave you moron! Everyone loves a baby Amy but get real…you cant even take care of yourself. Baby’s need to eat too eh? lol Anyways…Good luck with that one is all I have left to say to her.
make’s mistakes** sorry fast typo
