JESSE WEARS HIS HEART ON HIS ARM

tattoo-jesse.JPG

With the flash of his tacky tattoo, Jesse Metcalfe confirms his on-again, off-again relationship with Girls Aloud songstress Nadine Coyle is decidedly off during last night’s episode TLC’s ‘LA Ink.’

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ hottie dropped by star Kat Von D’s tattoo parlour asking for a naked female angel as a talisman against heartbreak. He lamented, “Everyone has had their heart broken but this is just a reminder not to let it happen again.”

A string around the finger couldn’t have sufficed?

There are some guys who when I see their faces, the word douchebag is the first thing that pops. He is one of those guys.

how is he going to get work after that ugly tatoo? he’s only known for taking off this shirt, but now it’s going to be difficult removing it digitally from his arm.

Unfortunately, he just filmed episodes for the next/new season of Desperate Housewives.

He can’t find work anywhere else, but why pity him and reprise his old & sad character?

IS IT ME OR HE TRYING WAY WAY WAY TOO HARD TO BE ALL RUFF & STRAIGHT & MACHO & HARDCORE?

Jesse Metcalfe is as gay as Senator Craig on his knees!

Wow pretty intense….but kinda cool I guess. I personally wouldn’t want my boyfriend or hubby walking around with a constant reminder of heartbreak on his arm but hey each to their own. It sucks getting your heart broken and if this is his way of staying stong then fair enough. A tat makes him a lot hotter if you ask me, less pretty boy.

Even if you don’t like Jesse or tattoos in general, you have to admit that Hannah does amazing work. The face on that tat is gorgeous. She is a really great portrait artist.

I have a feeling most of you don’t know much about tattoos. That is GREAT work! i get that some people just don’t like tattoos, but that’s no reason to knock the artist. And I love that show, although Kat is admittedly fairly annoying.

I just don’t understand why someone would want to permanently alter their appearance. Sure it might look okay now, but what about 30 years from now? His kids will be embarrassed to accompany him to the beach.

you’re right, heidi. artistically, it’s nice. but to wear that forever? i don’t think so.

Jxxx, it’s obvious you don’t know WTF you’re talking about. Prison tattoos aren’t rendered with even 1/100 of the skill evident in that tattoo of the woman.

i would like to say.as much as i will never get a tattoo.kat is a great artiste.her tattoos to me are amazind and the way she pays attention to details is very much commendable. but i think the tattoo is a work of art of its own. but jesse cant pull of that tattoo. but that tattoo and kats workmanship cannot be discriminated upon.just because jesse is wearing her work.

Say what you want, but I hired and fired people for years and I wouldn’t hire anyone to work in my office that showed up like that. Long sleeves that are never rolled up I’m fine with but keep your “art” on your own time.

Barks, you’re exactly what’s wrong with this country.

  26. Gloria
    August-30-2007 @ 9:15 am

Why is Barks what’s wrong w/ this countrY? You’re hired to do a job not to show off your body art. Not everything is about “YOU.” Everytime I visit my vet’s office I have to see his secretary with metal sticking out all over her face and it disgusts me. Do what you want in your private life but you don’t need to bring it to work with you.

It seems to me the Freakshow mentality has taken over. Eventually normal people will be the sideshow and tattoo’d covered freaks will be the majority. I’m not talking people with one or two tasetful tattoos but people completely covered are gross.

  28. ray
    August-30-2007 @ 9:29 am

Gloria, whether or not someone has tattoos in areas that are/can be exposed is NOT an indicator of how they well they do their job. So why does it matter if their tattoos are covered or not? Just so someone isn’t grossed out? Does the lady at the vet’s office with piercings service you well? Take care of all your needs? If so, then its not her problem….its yours. You’re the one grossed out.

    August-30-2007 @ 9:37 am

Barks and Gloria - you are both clearly small minded.
I make a arse-load of money and I manage an office with my full tattooed sleeves rolled up and all of that “gross” metal sticking out of my face…. I suppose it’s a good thing for the world that an open-minded individual like myself is capable of judging my employees on thier abilities rather than their choice of personal expession.
I think Jesse Metcalfe is a douche, and I’m not particularly impressed with his choice of tattoo, but I highly doubt it’s going to have any negative impact on his career.

they can cover that mess up with makeup.. they do it all the time. i think the tattoo is too large, but whatever. gloria… you must be old.

  32. my2cents

When people get tattoos that cover their entire body they look like trash. 99% of people agree with that, deal with it. I feel like it is a scream for attention. Think Travis Barker….

uberaxl - with your arseful of money I’m surprised you’re not finishing summer in the south of France instead of posting on a message board. you may have deluded yourself into thinking your tattoos are cool, but the day is coming when you’ll be ashamed of them. skin at 25 isn’t the same as skin at 45 and you’ll just look look like a giant artist’s easel.

  35. uberaxl
    August-30-2007 @ 1:15 pm

dear anonymous - i’m well over 25 and perfectly capable of judging whether i’ll be ashamed of myself in the future - or not, as the case may be. It must really be difficult to go through life wondering if you are suddenly going to start hating yourself once you pass a pre-determined chronological age. I couldn’t care less, I am who I am no matter the age or the body art.

  36. August-30-2007 @ 9:32 pm

i love my tattoos. i only have two (well placed) but have at least 3 more planned. there is nothing like knowing you are wearing an artists work or wearing something you created yourself. that feeling and the actual feeling of the process is truly addictive. when you finish one all that is on your mind is what and where you want the next one. if it was socially acceptable, i would be fully covered. believe me.
