Paris Hilton’s little brother Barron is set to launch a career as a singer/songwriter.
The 19-year-old celebutard — who last year was charged with drunk driving — says he’s sick and tired of being famous just because of his family’s name. He’s now determined to make a career out of his charmed life.
“I want to be an international singer-songwriter,” he tells the New York Post. “I’m sick of all the Hilton stuff, where all anyone cared about was whether I was doing coke in the bathroom or how many (women) I was sleeping with. I’m done with partying and travelling. It’s time to get this started. I just want people to say, ‘Wow, this song really moved me, or made me cry.’”
Meanwhile, proving that reality TV is a gene in the Hilton family, Barron has lined up a TV show deal that he hopes will help him bust into the recording industry.
He adds: “It’s gonna be like The Hills, but real.”

That line about him doing coke and sleeping with women was obviously his way of showing off, whether not he actually did these things or not. And if he thinks becoming a musician means he’s going to be off the party scene, then he’s very wrong. And it’s all well and good to want to be an international songwriter, but if you’re not actually good at something you can’t really do anything. I can’t see him going anywhere to be honest but at least he’s at least trying to do more.
