Before heading out for her dinner for two, the 16-year-old starlet — who just revealed that there will be no more Hannah Montana films after her latest release — told MTV News that she wasn’t putting on a teary performance during her acceptance speech for Favorite Female Singer at the Kids’ Choice Awards over the weekend.
“I was a little embarrassed. But then again, I shouldn’t be,” she says. “It meant something to me because it’s from the kids and the kids are more important than anything else in the world. So it made me happy. Honestly, I didn’t think I was going to win it.”
She adds: “It just made my day that I did. It means a lot to me.”

I have no idea why they creep me out so much. She’s 16 and he’s 20. When I was 17 I dated a 23 yr old for a bit, so its not much different. I think its because Disney makes their talent out to be these virginal pure “angels” so just the thought of her being anything but is gross. I mean, think about what you were doing at 16, I’m still creeped out though.
