It seems like the list has been out for forever, but the new ‘Dancing With the Stars’ cast was announced this morning on ‘Good Morning America.’ The show returns September 24.
The chosen 12 are:
- Wayne Newton, Vegas headliner- Floyd Mayweather Jr, boxer
- Entrepreneur Mark Cuban
- Melanie Brown, aka “Scary Spice” and Mel B.
- Sabrina Bryan of Disney Channel’s Cheetah Girls.
- Indianapolis 500 champ Helio Castroneves
- Actress Jennie Garth
- Model-actress Josie Maran
- Soap star Cameron Mathison
- Singer Marie Osmond
- Model Albert Reed
- Actress Jane Seymour

Ok at first i didn’t mind Mel B, and the whole Eddie Murphy Crap. But now i understand what most people have been saying about her being a gold digger, she’s bloody everywhere. Using a very sad situation to get media exposure. Damn Eddie’s a fool, he’s gonna have to see a lot more of her. Shame - Wear condoms people!

I think they should do either all female stars or all male stars, putting the two against each other isn’t fair. The women - whether its the star or the professional - always have way more to do than the guys, so to compare female and male star’s performance is automatically skewed.
I bet Wayne Newton is the first to try and bow out gracefully.

I thought Tori Spelling was up for it also (along with Jennie). I heard that on the radio.
And why is scary spice doing it? She has a tour to do late this year right? That doesn’t give her much time to get ready for a tour!!!

Interesting…I’ll be excited to watch this one! I heard a rumor about Gisele being a contestant but I had a feeling that was too good to be true :-(. The reason why ‘D-Listers’ are chosen is because in order to be on the show you have to have a fair bit of time on your hands for rehearsals and stuff…if you are a big celeb at the moment that would be hard to make the commitment.
