Children’s advocacy groups say she is wielding her wealth and influence to circumvent Malawian law requiring an 18- to 24-month assessment period before adoption. And the Save the Children UK charity says the superstar’s second adoption is sending the wrong message, encouraging poor parents “to abandon children in the hope that they will have a better life.” In addition, her school is also the subject of controversy.

Can’t stand Madonna, but she’s doing a good thing here. She gives money to the country and wants to give a healthier life to one little girl who suffers more than any child in the West. Why deprive the child of that? Some of these so called charities, they get massive pay and none of them would take the time and trouble to rescue a little bairn. I hope Madonna succeeds - little David Banda looks really happy and sweet and it would be nice for him to have another little sister.
