The Bimbo Brigade — Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan — was lined up to receive an award at the ‘Teen Choice Awards’ on Sunday night, but the troubled starlets played it safe and stayed home.
The drunk-driving, head-shaving, rehab-attending celebutantes were set to receive a ‘Newsmakers of the Year’ award, “[but] all the publicists went crazy on FOX, and they just scrapped the category.”
Fellow media laughingstocks Larry Birkhead and Sanjaya Malakar were the gals’ only competition for the coveted prize.
As you may recall, it was a very pregnant Britney who was on Teen Choice last year introducing her then-hubby Kevin Federline’s craptastic music debut.

You have to give Nickelodeon props, I didn’t know they could be so damn mocking. That award is basically a big sarcastic one so why are people so stressed. I’m just shocked those three hoes are actually embarassed about it, surely they’d want to turn up and use the chance to flash their ‘bits’ at everyone…

I think Paris and Lindsay were probably embarrased to be in the same category as britney! But I have no explanation for why she’d refuse- god knows whats going on in her head!
That’s a pretty stupid award! I think its best that those girls stay away from the Teen Choice awards because they are definately not good role models for teenagers….especially teenage girls! Probably one of the smartest things they’ve done all year is to stay away from this event.
