The New York Post reports that Owen flew off the handle Sunday morning just after noon, and just after a “vicious quarrel with an unidentified friend.” He was later found at home by a “stunned family member.”
Meanwhile, E! Online is still going with the Kate story, suggesting he had been down all summer. And finally, Star quotes an unnamed AA meeting source on Owen’s addiction battle over the last few years, including a hospital visit in June because he was “tired and thin.”

i hope he gets the help he needs. it’s sad how many “stars” are resorting to drugs to satisfy some need that’s not being met. gone are the days of sleeping with the president, i guess.

The only thing that would even maybe bum him out about the Kate Hudson thing is that she left him for Dax fucking Shepard and even THAT wouldn’t be enough to get suicidal just really embarassed….I hope he gets better and I wish E! would shut the hell up.
Yeah, killing yourself over Kate Hudson? LOL, I don’t think so. and Dax Shepard? hahah, that was a drowgrade but I think it was him who broke up with her, and that’s probably cause he has his own demon to take care of you know what I mean…

hate to say it.. but alcohol and drugs in excess has been around as long as, well, as long as Hollywood it’self. this aint nothing new folks.. ex: Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, Carrie Fischer (who by the way had severe bipolar disorder which she masked with alchold and drugs), Ray Charles, Billy Holliday, freddie prinze, elvis presley, natalie wood, freaking Sigmund Frued (ok, not Hollywood but u get the point).. joan crawford.. the list goes on and on… so anyone naive enough to think this is just starting with these girls is SERIOUSLY mistaken.

I highly doubt it was to do with kate or even really to do with a fight. Its plain and sad that its his drug problem combined with all the raging self-image problems in hollywood. At least his family is rallying around for him which is great. i really hope he gets better.
