Shortly after touching down in the Sunshine State yesterday (March 26), the inseparable lovebirds were seen dropping some serious cash at the various luxury boutiques.
Though they’re clearly head-over-heels in love, it appears Paris is not quite ready to walk down the aisle after she was said to be less than impressed when her beau got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
Hours before they dined at the Ivy with Paris’ parents earlier this week, Doug wrote on his Twitter page, “I’m about to do something very exciting and life-changing. I’ll announce what happens later.”
After handing her a Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring, Paris reportedly shut the ring box and said she would need time to consider the offer.
A few hours later, the couple were photographed leaving the restaurant together. Onlookers said Doug looked “devastated.”
Devastated? Sure. Defeated? Clearly not.

Just what every girl wants….a guy who twitters his marriage intentions before proprosing. The more this guy is with her, the more I think they are perfect for each other. Tools. I wonder if he signed an employment contract before taking on his role of faux boyfriend?
