Ashley is cute, but it looks like she’s rapidly turning into one of those fake-n’-bake fanatics. I appreciate it when celebs aren’t afraid to go out with their “pasty” white skin =) ala Anne Hathaway & Kiki Dunst.

Awful dress, but Kelly does it better. I like her shoes, and it goes to show how unflattering it is that doesn’t look particularly better on Ashley, even though she’s so much skinnier.

I feel kinda sorry for Kelly Clarkson, because no matter how hard she tries with her hair, makeup and wardrobe, she will never be gorgeous. She’s always going to be average or “cute” at best. There’s nothing wrong with that in the real world, but in Hollywood?

^^ I think it’s good that girls have a variety of role models they can look up to and know that someone can be appreciated for their talent.. but, our wonderful society continues to use the F (fat) word and put her and others like her down… funny, when it’s an ethnic girl, they are celebrated for their curves (america ferrero, jennifer hudson)… and for the most part, women of color tend to have better self image… unless they grow up outside of their culture in the US.. then they succumb to the same Hollywood definition of sexy and beauty.. SHAME!!!

PS: however, most ethnic girls have much stronger sense of self b/c of their family and culture (there is always the exception)

I think Kelly looks great. She’s Greek, you know, so she’s going to always be a little bit hippy. Good for her for owning it.

I’m going for Ashley. I k might be a hypocrite because I feel strongly against girls throwing up food or not eating at all, but Kelly’s body is not cute at all. She has major calves, stomach and arms. I know she has been really cute back when she released “Behind These Hazel Eyes” and such. She was working out regularly and just looked really healthy. I guess we all pig out every once in a while, but it’s a shame if it turns into your lifestyle.I have no doubt that she will lose some of the weight she gained as soon as she goes on tour. Only1withoutherpes->I under stand what you are saying about the double standards. Ethnic women just grow up in a world where it’s accepted to be who you are and not change yourself, but caucasians aren’t much worth until they are skeletal. Can’t speak for everyone , but that’s my experience. I don’t know why we have those different sets of standards though.

Oh my god. Can we please not talk about who is or isn’t throwing up or who is? It was just about who wears it better and though I love Kelly neither girl is rocking this.

Ashley kind of annoys me how much she seems to try to be Paris Hilton, but she defiantely owns this dress. It looks fantastic with her long hair, tan and silver shoes and accessories. Kelly’s on the other hand does nothing to flatter her larger figure and the brown shoes and gold bangles look like she kinda just grabbed whatever she had in her closet. And just because Ashley is skinny why does that mean she throws up? I’m about the same size as her just with a larger chest and I consider myself to have a really healthy diet, without any fingers down my throat thank you very much. It’s not unattainable to have a thin body you know? Just lay off the crap, eat healthily and work out. Not rocket science…its just whether you’ve got the willpower to do it…which obviously Kelly doesn’t. If she’s not willing to give up junk food or get into working out fair enough that’s her decision.

Okay that dress is not attractive at all! That being said, Ashley looks good and Kelly does not. Could have something to do with the fact Kelly looks like she took her shoes from my very unfashionable mother’s closet! Her accessories are boring and her makeup is not pretty.
Ashley does look like a bimbo Paris Hilton wannabe with the awful tan and hair but I love her accessories and makeup.
