Au revoir, Monsieur Efron!

After spending barely 48 hours promoting and premiering his latest flick, 17 Again star Zac Efron was seen preparing to depart from Paris today (March 25) en route to London.

Much like the jet he was about to get on, Zac’s career seems to be seriously taking off. Variety reports that the 21-year-old actor, who recently passed on the remake of Footloose, is currently negotiating with New Line/Warner Bros. to star in an adaptation of the novel The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.

He will play a cemetery caretaker who communes with his dead brother, whose death he feels he caused. Based on the novel by Ben Sherwood, a former producer at Good Morning America, and helmed by Zac’s 17 Again director Burr Steers, the film is scheduled for a July start date.

At best he can in the like of maybe a Brad Pitt. However, pretty boys usually aren’t good actors.

Enough with the Zefron posts! How many times do we need to see him coming in and out of airports and walking around?
