Movie casting news!
Dennis Quaid will play Bill Clinton, Julianne Moore will play Hillary Clinton, and Frost/Nixon star Michael Sheen will once again play Tony Blair in The Special Relationship, an upcoming HBO movie about the global leaders.
The flick — which will mark the directing debut of screenwriter-playwright Peter Morgan – focuses on Bill’s interactions with Tony around when the British Prime Minister first took office.
Dennis and Julianne had previously teamed up for 2002’s Far from Heaven, a tale about a 1950s housewife dealing with contemporary issues such as race, sexuality and class.

They were amazing in Far From Heaven but Dennis is a druken scumbag.
Um…are those spanx and panties sticking out of the top of her jeans?
I love her….and yes, he is a drunk. He can’t hack it that Meg cheated on him
she’s a weird pick for hilary
Mh, she is a good actress and very pretty, but ever since she played Starling in “Hannibal” whenever I see her all I can think is: She ain’t Jodie Foster.” That is so bad.
It is funny how Barbara Walters defends Monica
Lewinsky..Saying that she deserves a break..
Well what skank is going to play her..in this
film.. Another bio that no one wants to see.
Ugh. I am so sick of Hollywood “prettying up” movies about real people. Go out and find unknowns who actually look like the Clintons instead of attractive actors who would only resemble them after tons of prosthetics. Now the Clintons were never dogs or anything, but come on.
UGH on Quaid. On one hand he would be perfect for the role, since he cheated on Meg Ryan more times than Bill cheated on Hillary. On the other hand: this means they couldnt get a proper A-list actor for this role.
Julianne Moore is a good actress, but I can’t see her as Hillary for one second, sorry.
Geez, Michael Sheen is playing Tony Blair yet again. That makes three roles now. Poor guy is typecast.
