Former prolific actor Adrien Brody visited a Pep Boys automotive store in Hollywood yesterday (March 24).

Before the Academy Award and the subsequent downward turn of his career due to poor film choices and missed opportunities, Adrien was one of the most exciting and interesting actors around.

Nowadays he’s making movies with Beyonce and enjoying celebrity perks like a new castmember on The Hills. This year, Mr. Brody is set to star in two flicks: Splice, a story about two scientists who splice together human and animal DNA to create a new organism named Dern; and Giallo, a tale of a kidnapped model in Italy whose equally hot sister desperately recruits a private investigator to find her before she suffers the same awful fate as the other beautiful victims.

It goes without saying, Oscar will likely not be knocking on Adrian’s door in 2009.
