Taking a day off mommy duty, Jessica Alba was photographed having lunch with a good friend at Le Pain restaurant in Beverly Hills today (March 24).

The solo afternoon out sans baby Honor is likely a welcomed break for this hands-on mom but it wasn’t long before she was seen scurrying off and returning home to reunite with her little one. They promptly shared a playdate shortly thereafter.

Jessica recently made headlines when it was revealed that she and hubby Cash Warren are ready for baby #2 but not before the 27-year-old actress heads to Oklahoma later this week to begin shooting A Killer Inside Me alongside Casey Affleck and Kate Hudson.
